I'm allowed to think negative every now and than. I'm certinaly not threatening to quit the fandom or anything  , Good or bad I'm still gonna be here for Season 4. I'm just not at all excited about it  |

I'm just not at all excited about it That's fine... It's more of the mob mentality "WORST THING EVAR RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE" that I'm pissed off with. I mean, when did we, the general media consumer, become so cut-throat and paranoid in our expectations that ONE misstep is enough to completely change our perspective on a product? I mean, this isn't WWE we're talking about who have a proven track record in this kind of thing... this is the bolt from the blue that literally no one expected to get this huge, and arguably haven't really done anything to deserve this kind of scorn except, in the opinion of some, give Twilight wings and/or green light a human-based spin-off. It's just... making me feel weird and almost wrong that I'm still keeping faith in these guys. And I feel bad that I'm letting you guys down, especially RC, in blowing up like this when I'm usually such a positive thinker and a sympathetic ear. |

I'll admit and maybe some of you rememeber when I first posted in these threads. Saying perhaps I'll give it a watch but have no expectations and before that I was just as skeptical as anyone. When I was a real good wrestling fan I was on a RP forum and I got so mad when they brought in a MLP: FiM wrestling RP board in. I got some of my friends and we tried to appeal it off, but were unsuccessful. So yeah, you could say I was a hater. And use to dismiss some bronies.
But now I rarely post in any other threads but these. Sweet irony.

Kick you out of the group? No way. I've seen a lot of arguments here but they always work themselves out. I've had small little ones before with people on here but we're good friends in the end.

Maybe, but this is big... I've basically changed my stance on the guy without warning, after I fought and fought to try and keep him at least in the discussion group. I mean, he came to me outside of the group for my advice... that's how much he valued my word. And I've thrown all that away.
I just couldn't handle the negativity anymore, and it's f***ing ruined everything.

And even if you did, it wasn't intentional, and you shouldn't blame yourself for how people react to your attempt at positivity. Especially since it's clear you didn't mean for your comments to hurt anyone. RC has been teetering with this fandom since the beginning of the Princess Twilight embargo, and at this point, it's not exactly easy for him to see the positives when something he cared about is letting him down. And Equestria Girls isn't helping the matters. And unfortunately, it's going to remain a talking topic for a while, especially with it so close to release. |

I agreed with RC on the Princess Twilight subject. Haven't really seen him around since then to be honest.
But I agree with FSin. It's not your fault on how people react to your comments, if they're not meant to be disrespectful and such.

It just hurts because I was so involved in keeping him around after the alicorn Twilight thing. This wasn't me offering my advice, he came to me for it. And I've let him down, basically because I (unintentionally, DEFINITELY unintentionally) painted him with the same brush as the average "hater".
