I think Sandman has a MASSIVE strength advantage over Clayface....by a lot, but there's really nothing either character can do to each other.

Thinking it would end up as a draw as I don't think they'd really be able to do much to each other...
or maybe they'd merge into SandFace <_< >_>

So much sand and clay mixing together in scuffle that would result in either A.) Accidently merging into one being or B.) Awkwardly walking away from each other as if it was a shameful one night stand.

I hope you are serious about that Sandman/Clayface merging stuff...that actually happened to Sandman once already, with Hydroman. LOL!!

Sandman fights Spiderman, Clayface fights Batman. Spiderman would beat Batman therefore Sandman should be able to beat Clayface.

They fuse. But really clay is a more stable material than sand, so in the case they don't merge, somehow, Clayface's blows would do more damage. Yeah Sandman is stronger, but it is sand hitting clay. Clay pottery has survived centuries, millennia even, buried under sand. So.....yeah.

It'd just make a hole and reform on itself as though it were never disturbed. So, basically... it's a draw until Hydroman shows up and washes them both into the sewer.

Sandman can create multiples of himself these days can't he? That would give him an edge over Clayface.
Also which Clayface are we dealing with here? Ther have been like 5 of them.

Sandman can beat Matt Hagan clayface.
Against Preston Payne (Flesh disolving touch.) Sondra Fuller (Shapeshifting WITH power copying), or Basil Karlo (Both of those powers) he starts to have proplems.

Power copying isn't going to do much in this fight, unless it turns them into sand aswell which means it will be a draw. The flesh dissolving touch I doubt works on sand, so again probably not much use.
Sandman isn't the shapest of villains but if he can get them near a high temperature source he can win. Clay solidifies at high heat while sand simply turns into glass (Have to be very extreme heat) which Flint Marko has been shown being able to control.
My money is still on Sandman.

If its Karlo, Hagen, or the Lady Clayface nothing really happens except they twist around and merge. Eventually Sandman and the Clayface will either get tired of it and cheat by trying to find a water tower to dump on the other. When they see they both have the same idea, they go their separate ways because the fights getting ridiculous.
The other two clayfaces go down though. Sandman is smarter and tougher than they are.
