Surely the biggest free agent that is currently wrestling full time right?
He has a superstar look and was getting a pretty big WWE push near the end of his run. He could also bring Melina along who would probably be a good addition to the Knock Outs division.
It just seems odd they haven't made a move for him yet. Is there a reason or is it just lack of interest from TNA?

He left on good terms with the WWE. Wanted to work on new projects like Jericho did when he left several years ago. But if he returns to wrestling, it will be with the WWE.

It's possible they've called him up and he simply turned them down.
And I know MVP worked for TNA before WWE, but there's another guy I'm surprised hasn't been sought after harder.

I have heard this but Melina is allegedly on bad terms with WWE and to my knowledge they are still together. I think Hennigan would want to work a full time schedule with Melina if he did return to wrestling and I can't see WWE wanting them both. It's possible they've called him up and he simply turned them down. And I know MVP worked for TNA before WWE, but there's another guy I'm surprised hasn't been sought after harder. I hear MVP hates TNA because they used to allow Raven to bully him and other young guys before shows.

Yeah, but even MVP must realize that it's much different than it was 8 or 9 years ago.

Didn't Morrison choose not to re-sign with the WWE because he needed a break to heal up? I think that would be why. Also TNA seem to have learned that throwing crazy money around to try and attract former WWE talent doesn't work, guys like Flair and RVD came purely for the money and they got nothing in return.

Good terms with WWE. Will probably come back in the future. Wants to work the ideas and do his own thing.

He has been doing a few indy shows as well so maybe he just wants to wrestle when he wants to wrestle and doesn't want the road schedule again

I think I read last year that he wasn't interested in going to TNA. If he makes a full time return, John wants to be in WWE.

I remember when Morrison left WWE and Hogan kept insisting in interviews that Morrison was coming to TNA, he wanted to go there, and it was just a matter of time, and Morrison would always refute it. He simply didn't want to go there. He knew that he could take come time off, keep good ties with WWE, and go back after a while. As for Melina, I think as long as she's not at every show it won't be that much of a problem. It'll only be a problem if Morrison makes it one, insisting she be brought back or constantly bitching that she's not there.

It didn't help that Hogan also said Morrison would make a great X Division wrestler during those interviews. Morrison didn't want to go to TNA but hearing that made it even more crystal clear not to go.

Well he did take time off to heal, rest, and do other projects. I think he also took some classes to help improve his mic work. From what I read it sounds like he coming back soon to the WWE. I wouldn't go to TNA is someone who had so much stroke telling me all he sees is an X-Divison guy would kinda upset me if he dream was to be World Champion. Plus he left on good terms with the WWE. Melina may not have but remember that Melina was gone before Morrison left.
I think he was asked by TNA to come but denied it because it was during the period of healing. He is an ex WWE guy I want because I feel he could be a lot like Christian in TNA. Kinda show he belongs in the ME. That would be the case if it wasn't Hogan and Eric running things.

If JoMo left on good terms with WWE and is going to return one day he has no reason to go to TNA. Other than Christian every other WWE guy that went there did it either because they were fired and needed a job or they couldn't handle WWE schedule. Morrison took time off, and every time he spoke he said that he would return to WWE when he's heals/rests, and after he works on his promo ability as that was the main thing that has held him back.
In meantime he works a few indy shows here and there.

MVP made it quite clear when that he asked for his release from WWE to go work in Japan. On Lagana's old podcast he said his 2 biggest dreams were to work in the WWE or work in Japan. He missed a chance to go work in All Japan as Muta's tag partner back before he signed on with WWE (when his mentor called him All Japan needed an answer right away and MVP missed the call) so he left to go to Japan.

Because most of the TNA locker room has probably already had a turn with Melina..?

There are two sides to this. It may not be a matter of 'Why hasn't TNA brought him in?' You can't assume he wants to go to TNA.

Wasn't there a report a few months ago that JoMo might be back around SummerSlam?
