1. Lady Gaga I'm a huge fan of hers. She just understands pop music.
2. Taylor Swift
3. Ke$ha
4. Pink
Dead last: Katy Perry and Rihanna I've never been a fan of either but Rihanna was apart of Take Care... So she's a bit ahead of Katy.

Nicki Minaj is offended that she's not even named at all. So offended in fact, that she's going to make a song about it where she starts off normal then SHE STARTS RAPPING VERY LOUD, ANGRY AND FAST BECAUSE SHE'S A MONSTAH RAWR BEFORE SUDDENLY going down very calm and sweet like she's an innocent child. GaGa. The rest can f*** off.

1. Katy Perry - Only because I want her to touch my wiener someday. 2. Lady GaGa - Has talent, not convinced she's actually using it. 3. Taylor Swift - She's fun to make fun of. 4. Pink - Has a good vocal range, but her actual songs suck. Meh. 5. Rhianna - Double meh. N/A. Kesha - She doesn't make music. She makes dog noises.

I'm just going to do least annoying to most annoying.
1. Pink 2. Rihanna 3. Katy Perry 4. Taylor Swift 5. Ke$ha 6. Lady Gaga
Gaga pretty much is the most talented of the bunch, but her annoyingness is beaten only by Nikki Minaj.

Pink and Lady Gaga are pretty darn talented and dare I say sometimes underrated as artists and given much more flack than they deserve. (I'm an indie music person, so I'm not just saying that cause I dont know music or something silly like that)
Taylor Swift has songs I like and Katy Perry has a few catchy tunes I enjoy, but get played too often.
I honestly don't know very many of Rhianna's stuff off the top of my head, and K3$h@ is okay, but not as talented or enjoyable as the others, just feels a bit more manufactured, but there is a catchy tune or two she has, which I can tolerate.

I think the world would be better if all of them, and the people who made them were placed on a rocket to the sun ala Simpsons. THAT'S what would make the world better. Not saying the world would be instantly cured of everything, or that it would be the best thing to fix societies ills, but being able to go into any store without hearing Rihanna's off key blathering or Taylor Swift being upset about Boy X might have a positive influence on daily stress levels. Or clean water available to all mankind. Both good options.

Sorry if I came off touchy, hyperbolic hatred of bad music is my pet peeve. Plus, I'm quite the Gaga fan haha.

Lady Gaga would definitely top my list. Incredibly talented woman, great on the piano and with a heck of a voice, writes her own music, went from being a behind-the-scenes songwriter to making a name for herself. Also did fantastic work for the LGBT community, particularly speaking out over DADT, and gave bisexuals some much-needed representation in the media... In fact, probably the most representation we've had since the guy who sang the song she was named after. Pity it hasn't stopped idiots calling her a straight ally. Anyway, big fan of hers, can't wait for her next works.
Ke$ha... I'm conflicted on. Most of my exposure to her comes from Todd In The Shadow videos and the songs that were played on the radio at my work. I'm not a fan of hers, per se, but she does have some catchy bits even if the lyrics are mostly terrible, and there are clips going around of her music from before she adopted this persona, and the contrast is quite fascinating. She does have a good voice.
The rest, I can't say I've heard enough to form an opinion of them... Except Katy Perry. Never seen any hint of talent from her, and I find people trying to paint her as some lovely figure because of "Firework" supposedly being some sort of call for acceptance frankly risible, given that she's also the one behind "I Kissed A Girl" and "Ur So Gay". Yeah.

1. P!nk. Really enjoy her music. Hers is the first CD I've purchased in over 10 years that isn't old hair bands, the Doors or country.
2. Taylor Swift. Her songs are catchy and light hearted. Aside from her boyfriend drama I don't mind her.
3. Lady Gaga. I like most of her songs, don't watch her videos so don't see the freak show.
4. Katy Perry. I find most of her stuff tolerable.
5. Ke$ha. I think she has a song I like.. not sure what it is though.
6. Rhianna. Don't like her music and think she's dumber than a box of rocks for taking Chris Brown back, even if just for a little while.

Favorite to least favorite:
1. Lady Gaga: Gaga is really talented 2. Pink: Fun pop music with some attitude. 3. Katy Perry: Glorious jublees and some decent pop songs 4. Rhianna: She's hot 5. Ke$ha: Kind of annoying, but not nearly as annoying as Taylor Swift. 6. Taylor Swift: Lame songs, lanky and awkward, supremely annoying.

Favorite to least favorite:
1. Taylor Swift - I was the engineer of the Taylor Swift backlash bandwagon, but her latest batch of songs has swayed me. She's officially given up on even pretending to be a country singer, which gets big points in my book, and now that the public seems to think she's a giant c-word, I sort of want to defend her at every turn.
2. Kesha - *hangs head in shame* I've never heard a Kesha song I don't thoroughly enjoy. It's all banal and the lyrics are downright moronic, but dammit if I don't crank it up on the radio or want to head to the floor when it comes on at a bar or club.
3. Katy Perry - She's good for what she does: providing enjoyable pop songs that make people want to dance. She's not out there trying to push herself as bigger than what she is or the leader of some sort of cause. She's just making fun music for the sake of making fun music.
4. Pink - I'll give her credit, she's got sustainability. When she broke out in 2001, I thought she was a surefire one-hit wonder, but here we are over a decade later, and she's still churning out chart-topping hits. However, I can't say I'm really a fan of most of her catalog, with the exception of one or two here or there.
5. Lady Gaga - Much like I used to like "Community" a lot more when it was a show that was about a community college, I liked Lady Gaga a lot more when she was just a pop star, not some vain martyr and supposed icon. I much prefer her mindless dance and pop songs over her "message" songs.
6. Rhianna - It feels uncomfortable to say it, but she almost seems to be exploiting the Chris Brown incident for her own financial gain. Since then, her music has transformed into this medley of tough girl, beat-you-up, rough-housing type of music like "Hard" and "S&M", whereas prior to 2009, it was generally generic, upbeat hip-hop pop songs like "Umbrella" and "Don't Stop the Music".

1. Ke$ha
Gaga does have some good music but she generally annoys me. The other four I may like one or two songs but that's it.

6. Ke$sha 5. Lady Gaga 4. Katy Perry 3. Rhianna 2. Pink 1. Taylor Swift (I am a fan)
I like one song by Pink and that is why she is rated number two. I think Rhianna is hot so she is ranked number 3. I think Rhianna can be the biggest star in the world someday if she had a good song. I never heard a Katy Perry song. Lady Gaga and Ke$sha are the two main reasons why I can't listen to pop radio.

QFT 2-6 would generally be decided by how attractive/available the ladies are to me personally. #2 is Taylor Swift cause it seems like she'll give any (famous) gut a shot at a date with her! Plus I always had a crush on her for being the only celebrity smart enough to say when asked about politics "I don't think it's responsible of me to use my celebrity status to influence how people vote." Happily-married Pink is obviously #6 on the list, Katy Perry is back up to #4 after her divorce, Gaga's at #5 because of her seemingly bi-curious/androgynous nature (i.e. less of a chance for a breeder like moi) and because Katy is cuter/married an ugly troll of a comedian so even I should have a shot! Rhianna is stuck at #3 because Swift is hotter and more talented as a musician (probably the only time I use musical talent in my rankings!)

Lady Gaga destroys the competition. So much more personality and value than the others by a country mile.
Next, I'd go with Ke$ha and Pink because I find both pretty entertaining and never touted too highly for their talents.
After that comes Taylor Swift because she has talent but is still incredibly grating.
Next comes Rihanna, who is bland as hell and abuses vocal effects. I don't get the obsession with her at all, but she doesn't bother me as much as my last choice.
Last is Katy Perry, whose music is totally vacuous dog shit that doesn't even feel like the good kind of bubblegum.

1. P!nk
- No contest for me, been a fan of hers since she pretty much showed up. Her only chart topppers were So What, Raise Your Glass and Just Give Me a Reason; not her best songs (how often are #1 songs an artist's best that aren't one-hit wonders), but still fun to listen to. My favorites of hers probably are Glitter in the Air, Who Knew and Sober. Props to Dear Mr. President as well.
2. Lady Gaga
- I'm a closet GaGa fan outside of the Internet. IMO, I don't think anything pre-Paparazzi has "aged" well, but from Paparazzi-onward, can't say I disliked, besides maybe Judas, and even then, don't hate it, just didn't feel it. My favorites from her are Paparazzi, Bad Romance, and Teeth with a shout out to Edge of Glory and Dance in the Dark.
Here's where it gets tough for me, considering everyone else's ranking depends on the day.
3. Rihanna
- I struggled with this spot, and only put Rihanna here and the following rankings what they are after looking at each one's discography. I think having new material every year since she appeared is commendable, and she's certainly ridden the post-Chris Brown assault train to the bank. What happened to her was horrible, but she not only used it to transition to a new sound, she got back with him for a bit, so she's gone full circle. I like Umbrella, Disturbia, Unfaithful, S&M and Princess of China. What I like of hers, I like. Everything else is just there. She and Beyonce can get a little ridiculous with the "I'm a bad/hard bitch" gimmick.
4. Taylor Swift
- Would have been #3, but then she had "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", and her stock fell to me. Can't stand that song. Again, her success is commendable, but her subject material is reaching Maroon 5 territory (and I like them, but come on) in that there's a pattern in what she sings about, especially the songs that give her the most success. Then again, it's pop, so it's not like you can talk about much and not have it sound the same. I like Safe and Sound and You Belong With Me. Everything else, again, is just there, except the one song of hers I actively hate.
5. Katy Perry
- Used to be a fan of hers, then I just woke up one day and felt she wasn't anything special. I do still like Waking Up in Vegas and Teenage Dream, though.
6. Ke$ha
- She's here because what she's famous for, I think isn't anything that great. Her songs are certainly catchy, but I don't know what she brings to the table, that the other five women here don't already bring. She has gotten praise from Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper and is collaborating with The Flaming Lips, so perhaps I need to look at her in a different light.

Musically?
Split on Gaga and P!nk as in the lead for me. Pink for being that talented, or putting out some good songs. And Gaga for being someone who 'gets' pop music, and took her singer/songwriter roots and applied them to this glossy glam persona/music.
Katy Perry/Ke$ha equate out to me as well. Catchy stuff, that I think is self aware. Maybe too much self-aware. Even if Katy does that weird yodel/yowl, but her videos portray her jubjubs are capable of curing the sick as well as spraying icing. I would watch that Cake Boss. Whereas Ke$ha is the kind of person you wake up next to wearing her panties. Except she went commando.
Then comes Rihanna, who I am just so ambivalent about, because she has put out seven and half albums in her 8ish year career. She has never had a chance to breathe, and there is nothing whet my appetite for her, apart from the Ronnie skits from SNL. She is talented. But I hate most of the production on her songs, barring a couple, and switch in gears to play on... whatever, has been downright oppressive. Which is sad, because she has such a huge upside, see her work on "Take Care" and "Love the Way You Lie," but when demonstrating seems to be an exception, then I can't really be engaged in your music, if you don't have something to offer. So I guess I put her here due to her wasted potential.
And then Taylor Swift. Who... she is generic Nashville crap. I hate generic Nashville crap. While the Rap industry is pretty horrible with it's treatment, they don't overtly kick their greatest elder statesmen to the curb after a certain point. Despite all their pretensions of adhering to tradition or something.
