I personally like Lady Gaga myself, but Ke$ha in my opinion is the least talented of the six. Rihanna has a few good songs and Katy Perry is talented enough.

Taylor Swift is actually my second favorite music artist in history.
My favorite? All the rest are tied.

Alright, since I never gave my list earlier, here it is:
(Reminder this is currently and not overall)
1. Lady Gaga
2. Rihanna, I cannot turn away when I hear 'Pour It Up'
3. Katy Perry
4. P!nk, I haven't really been into her after moving away from R&B
5. Taylor Swift
6. Ke$ha

6. Ke$ha - Absolutely worthless. 5. Rihanna - Also absolutely worthless, though not to the same degree as Ke$ha 4. Katy Perry - She has one or two songs I can tolerate 3. Taylor Swift - I don't like her, but she's less awful than the others. HUGE JUMP 2. Lady Gaga - Talent out the wazoo, good song writer, named her stage name after a Queen song. 1. P!nk - I really enjoy listening to her music. I agree with everything about this post, though for Perry I did more than tolerate "I kissed a girl".

From favorite to least favorite:
1) P!nk: And it isnt even close. She's the most talented and the most likable of the bunch
2) Taylor Swift: I've been very critical of her for her BF drama stuff, but when she tones that down, she's actually pretty enjoyable
3) Lady Gaga: If you get past her "LOOK AT ME!!" stunts and her attempt to be Madonna 2.0, her music really isnt too bad. Catchy and inoffensive for the most part
3a) Katy Perry: Catchy enough music, but her "Waaa, Im the victim" phase following her divorce cost her some points.
4) Ke$ha: Every song is about her being immature white trash. Yawn.
Last: Rihanna: Her music is absolute garbage. 90% of her music is just her singing the same hook over and over and over and over. It has almost NO substance. As a person she is also garbage. Between the Chris Brown fiasco (which I agree, she exploited it big time) to her recent trend of no showing/being hours late for shows, she just sucks.

Going from favorite to least favorite: 1. Lady Gaga. I like her songs that don't have all the crazy vocal effects. When I first heard "You and I" I had no idea it was Gaga; I thought it was some new alt-country group. She gets bonus points from me for having Clarence Clemons play sax on her most recent album. 2. Katy Perry. Her songs are just so damn catchy. And "California Girls"--I refuse to acknowledge her poor spelling--is about 20% cooler thanks to a certain animated television show. 3. Pink. I liked "Get the Party Started." Some of her more recent songs aren't bad either. 4. Taylor Swift. She would probably rank higher if her songs weren't so one-dimensional. Enough about your love life (or lack thereof) already! 5. Rhianna. I liked "Pon de Replay" when it came out but that's about it. 6. Ke$ha. Nothing much to say here.

1. Lady Gaga 2. P!nk
There's a HUGE drop off after these two..I actually genuinely respect Gaga and P!nk as artists, musicians, songwriters, and performers. I can't say the same for any of the other women on this list.
3. Katy Perry - Her music is as corny as she is beautiful...I do admit that a couple of her songs have been a guilty pleasure or two of mine 4. Taylor Swift - Makes me feel like I'm listening to the Disney Channel 5. Rihanna - I have no respect for a lot of her life choices, which I hate to say impacts my tolerance for her songs 6. Ke$ha - Terrible. I don't consider her a musician whatsoever, her songwriting is laughable, she's a walking cliche, and an absolutely terrible role model for her predominately young fanbase

If she were included, Kelly Clarkson would be No. 1 for me. She would be followed by Pink.
Although I like more of Katy Perry's songs, I'll concede Lady Gaga is more talented. They flip flop in spots No. 3 and 4.
Don't care for Taylor Swift, but her songs are indeed catchy.
Don't particularly care for Kesha.
I'm sick of hearing about Rhianna and her diamonds.
Can't stand Nicky Minaj.
And just throwing this out, but should Adel be part of this discussion?

Favorite to least favorite:
1. Katy Perry - I like almost everything she puts out. 2. Taylor Swift - Again, I like almost all of her stuff, even though her image is really annoying. 3. Kesha- I like Kesha, her songs are fun and always have a good beat at the very least. 4. Lady Gaga- She's hit or miss for me. I love some of her songs, but there's a lot of stuff that I've never been able to get into from her. 5. Pink - She's alright, but pretty meh for me. 6. Rihanna - Her music is alright, but I find her intolerable. She just comes across as insanely stupid and trashy to me.

6. Pink - I don't think I've ever liked a single thing this fake rock chick has ever put out. Horrid.
5. Taylor Swift - Never more popular in the U.K. as she is now and while her songs are catchy they are incredibly annoying if you hear them every single day at work, at least once every 2 hours. Yes we know that you know that he was trouble when he walked in but just give it a bloody rest ok.
4. Kesha - Her new stuff is pretty bad but she had some pretty catchy songs on the first album. Take It Off is an utter tune.
3. Rihanna - Familirity breeds contempt and while she has had some really good singles her prescence is just becoming exhausting. Needs to take a break I think she's had a single out every year since 2005 or something.
2. Lady GaGa - Was thinking she should be number 1 but changed my mind last minute. Thankfully unlike Rihanna she knows when to back away but maybe it's a case of too much too soon. She was EVERYWHERE in 2009-2011. Will need a serious revamp on album number 3
1. Katy Perry - I didn't just choose her because she's the hottest honest. Doesn't take herself too seriously, fun pop songs, fun videos, yeah she's had a few duds but then who hasn't. Let's just forget the Russell Brand thing though huh?

We are now waiting now for ARTPOP, but who knows when it's coming out this year as she not too long had surgery because she essentially broke her hip while on tour, which she had to cancel the rest of.

1) Lady Gaga: By a wide, wide margin. Although if they were on the list, Janelle Monae and Florence Welch might make it a three way tie. 2) P!nk: Extremely charismatic, great voice, seems pretty likable. 3) Katy Perry: Decent songs, hot as hell, was a less annoying sounding Smurfette than the original. Questionable taste in guys, though. 4) Rihanna: Even more questionable taste in guys and even worse judgment, but she's got some catchy songs and she's extrememly easy on the eyes. 5) Kesha: I admire her support for LGBT causes, but I've never gotten into her. 6) Taylor Swift: I don't think she's this anti-feminism, serial dating horrible person some people claim, but she just bores me for the most part and she seems to take herself too seriously.

1: Lady Gaga. I just like how she loves to experiment with music and doesn't believe in giving her listeners the same old same old. Plus, I love Just Dance, Edge of Glory and Born this Way so much.
2: P!nk. This is more about her latest album, The Truth About Love, than anything else. It's basically perfect and her three big hits off of that album in Blow Me (One last kiss), Try and Just Give Me A Reason are really good.
3: Ke$ha. Again, more about her latest album in Warrior than her earlier work. Yeah, the majority of her stuff sucks i.e. her entire first album. However, she at least learned from her mistakes and got better.
4: Katy Perry. She's more of the typical bubblegum pop that music dealt with heavily in the 80s. She's got a couple songs that I like, but not too much there.
5: Taylor Swift. I admit to liking "We are never ever getting back together", but the rest of her stuff I don't care about.
6: Rihanna. Not only is the majority of her music unlistenable (Take Care is only good because of Drake, not her), but she is also the dumbest out of all of the 6 here. Taking back the man who beat her, literally, within an inch of her life and ever since, her music has gone really downhill, going to the filthy and ugly not sexy at all sex songs. Think about it. Rude Boy, S&M, Where Have You Been, Birthday Cake, all godawful. She just needs to go away and never return.

P They've only done two songs together, but they're pretty great. www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNLw2TtrZBUwww.youtube.com/watch?v=Cq-sC82IVQwThey're also apparently making an album called Lip$ha.
