"YOU HAVE DIFFERING OPINIONS TO ME! I DONT LIKE YOU!" I don't have a "role" on this board. I never said I "didn't like you". Stop playing martyr and let's talk some wrestling. Kaos was good. Anybody know if he ever did anything after XPW? Not much other than a couple of WWE squash matches though but he was great in Wrestling Society X.

Kaos is currently one of the head bookers of Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, as well as an onscreen talent. He's also the head trainer of Santino Bros. Wrestling Academy. And a hell of a nice guy.

Anybody know if he ever did anything after XPW? Kaos actually had a brief stint in CZW and a dark match for TNA on top of the aforementioned WWE one. Currently, he's training people at his wrestling school along with Supreme and a couple of others I'm pretty sure. As for XPW itself, I can speak as someone who went to a years worth of their shows. It wasn't the best wrestling you were going to find out there and it doesn't at all hold up anymore but I had a lot of fun as a teenager at those shows. It was surreal (some may say sad depending on how you look at it) to see Konnan and Psychosis arrive to the arena walking right by you as you were waiting to get in without even thinking twice about it. They actually had some packed and filled out shows despite their quality at the Olympic Auditorium and Pico Rivera Sports Arena but then they inexplicably moved to the East Coast because Shane Douglas was booking and the company fell apart from there. For all of the sleaze that gets brought up about Rob Black, the one thing that seems to be lost in time is the time that Black threatened to feed a live dog to snakes. No, I'm not making this up. It was a publicity stunt that pretty much was of a tasteless kind and shut off by people who were alerted to it. Another less talked about thing is the time they hyped up the surprise of someone you'd never expect in XPW to face the Enterprise and it turned out that they were two homeless bums off the street. Oh and the time that they advertised and had a Buck Naked match. There's a ton of stuff to go into and so little time but XPW was as bad as people say for a multitude of reasons and this is from someone that went to a lot of shows. Though Kaos did spawn my e mail being kaostrify and I always did like the Rock Superstar gimmick so at least there was that.

Didnt XPW have a Poo Match? There was a math where there was a kiddie pool full of crap and Angel side slammed GQ Money through it. Kinda a stupid move since both guys ended up covered in crap. Since XPW ran in SoCal, I saw their shows on the local channels and it was sleazy as hell. There were some decent matches and some good hands there, but it was just a sleazy organization.

Didnt XPW have a Poo Match? I think it was a WWE style sewage match.

It was bad, but I would honestly rather watch an XPW show instead of a modern WWE show. At least XPW had a FEW great wrestlers like Altarboy Luke (Luke Hawx) and (especially) The Messiah.

Anybody know if he ever did anything after XPW? Kaos appeared in a ladder match with Messiah and Adam Flash at CZW's Cage of Death 6. That's one of the very best shows I've ever seen, so you should pick it up if you're into Kaos and like great wrestling.

Does anyone know what happened to Tool who was a gimp or if Pogo is still wrestling Here's something about Tool (Aka Gary Key) "Key opened the Grappler's Den on Market Street in Ventura in mid-April and is accepting students who are interested in the sport. He said he has about eight students so far. "I'm keeping it low key and I'm only interested in working with people who are serious," he said. "I'm not much into the extreme wrestling or the silly stuff that goes on. I'm old school. If you can get into the ring and not touch your opponent for 20 minutes but still entertain me, that's wrestling." Key works now for Ventura County in the government services division doing maintenance. "There's no retirement program or health insurance in wrestling," he said." as for Pogo after a search on google he was working under his real name "Joe Applebaumer" in 2010 for an indy promotion called NAW in California.

I remember they had that Wargames match where the idea was that only one ring had a roof so they could do highspots, but the cage was made so shittily that it fell apart the first time anyone tried climbing more than half way up it.

Xpw in 99/2000 wasn't terrible hell they were fine for 2001. Not anything special but nothing to be ashamed of despite having a shitty owner.
Now once they decided to try their Hostile Takeover of Philly they ran out of money and all Black's shady dealings came to the top.
One thing I always found funny is before they left SoCal they started using Rev Pro guys on the undercard. RevPro guys included Super Dragon, Rising Son, Excallibur, Quicksilver, and Disco Machine. Rob Black used to rip them after their matches for making his stars look inferior.

Coming from someone who would consider themselves an XPW fan... yes, it is that bad.
But it also got me into the SoCal scene of wrestling. And there were plenty of young talents who wanted to make a name for themselves. But otherwise, it was really bad deathmatches with sloppy fat guys or ex-ECW talent who wanted a payday, whether it was in money or in porno tapes.

Yep it was indeed that bad as the promotion was pretty much just a 10th rate rip off of ECW. Not to mention its alleged that Rob Black hired two hitman to kill a wrestler who banged his wife. I'm laughing so hard at this.

Bottom line: Attitude Era WWF and ECW definitely had plenty of raunchy and sleazy storylines and characters-but they made up for it by putting on excellent shows with top drawer talent. XPW could not say that much-all of their home grown talent sucked up the house and what good matches they did have were put on by survivors from WCW and ECW looking for work. And while Paul Heyman and Vince McMahon are hardly what I would call the most stand up people I could think of, they are both freaking saints compared to Rob Black. Rob Black is a dirtbag to make even the likes of Donald Trump cringe.
