I'm happy for him. TBH who cares if he still has a job and rarely appears on TV, it's not like WWE has money issues or anyone here is affected by their financial situation. They could have 30 or 300 contracted wrestlers and it still wouldn't affect anything on TV, people who get on TV - good for them, people who don't - at least they have a job and get paid.
Here's for 6 more years of JTG in WWE! *cheers*

I don't mind the big roster, I just don't understand why it has be the same guys year after year. There's so little turnover. You can always bring these guys back. Same with the midcarders. I don't need to see Kofi Kingston on TV every week for 8 years. There's so little competition in the wrestling landscape. They don't need to hoard guys. I don't like seeing Kofi every week, and wouldn't mind seeing more of JTG. But I think if WWE did have a larger turnover rate, the backstage environment would become a bit more hostile and people would be fighting over spots. Even if WWE were open to bringing guys back, no wrestler is going to want to gamble with their career like that, and they'd try to undermine each other to management in the hopes that "it's them and not me".

If I was in JTG's shoes, I'd have been saving my money up big time since 07 or so... if and when he does get released, he should be able to take a year or so off comfortably. It's amazing he's been around so long... they love using him in dark matches, I guess.

The question of why JTG (and to much greater extent Curt Hawkins) is still employed is beyond all understanding Vince may very well have forgotten they're employed.

I honestly don't think they're ever going to get rid of the "designated jobber" wrestlers. Someone has to give Ryder or Riley their token dark match/house show/Superstars win so they can built up enough to be fed to the hot new heel pet project. If you cut them, then some people have to be demoted once it's time to put over the new NXT talents. Dump JTG, Hawkins, etc. and someone like Cody or Kofi is going to be stuck jobbing a lot more often. Guys like Gabriel will never get pushed because no one is waiting in the wings to relieve them of jobbing duties.

^This. Plus, since they've been employed by the WWE for so long, they're well used to the style of wrestling the 'E looks for making them good choices for developmental talent to compete against without having to get buried.

WWE has tons more questionable employment choices then JTG. The guy probably doesn't cost them much and he is really good at selling peoples moves(aka the 1 quality to have in a jobber).

Also, since the start of 2012 he's had ONE WIN. The only person who has a worse match record in that time is Rosa Mendes, who has yet to score a single pinfall or submission in her entire main-roster career

How do they know the exact time JTG began his employment?
