Well, now we know where the Fountain of Youth is. Just wish the Spurs weren't so selfish and let other people use it.

I appreciate Notre Dame's horrible 2013 continuing so I can get to my remote before Magic Johnson and Mike Wilbon find their way back to my TV.

ABC couldn't dodge the Spurs in the NBA Finals forever.
They were on borrowed time after the last 2 postseasons.

I f***ing love this team. I was 8 years old when I moved to San Antonio, and it was also the year the Spurs drafted Tim Duncan. I'm now 24 years old and have gotten to see them win 4 championships and now see them on the verge of making it back to the finals. I'm just so f***ing happy. And it feels so good to get the taste of that 2011 series out of my mouth.

ALSO, words cannot express the sweet sweet taste of how this series has gone compared to EVERYONE picking Memphis in 6 or 7.
(Including myself, admittedly.)

So.... how did the Spurs fare in the season series against Indiana? Their 2 games against Miami this year- well-documented.

Still I can't believe how people sleep over the Spurs. They have had their hiccups, but damn they have been solid for the last 15 years/

I admit this series between San Antonio and Memphis is not going the way I predicted. I was expecting more of a competitive series and possibly going to seven games. It's possible that Memphis may win the next one, no way they're coming back from this though. They're just not experienced enough and their youth shows.

It is exactly what happened to the Thunder in their first WCF, when Dallas bounced them in 5.

@jadande: 37-year-old Duncan: "Am I surprised at what I'm able to do? I'm just here to play, man. I'm not worried about how old I am."

Literally a month after I moved to San Antonio, David Robinson got injured and the Spurs suffered their worst season ever. Initially excited that I was moving to an NBA city, I suddenly asked myself, "I move to San Antonio for THIS???"
I honestly thought I jinxed the Spurs.

Tim Duncan continues to be my favorite NBA player not on the Knicks.
Hell, I like him a lot more than a lot of players currently on the Knicks. Shame he'd never come to play here. He's attached to Pops at the hip and the last thing the Knicks need is yet another older veteran even as good as he still is.

I don't know how we did it, but I am glad we landed both Robinson and Timmy for our team. San Antonio is my my home town and I am glad they finally got some respect.

I just can't believe how good the Spurs have been, and for how long.
In their entire NBA history since 1976, they've only missed the playoffs 4 times.

Jeff Hornacek agreed to a three-year deal with the Phoenix Suns to become the franchise's 16th head coach.

Not much of a basketball fan here, but I will say that I hope the Spurs end up winning the title.
