I love to cook, but don't have a huge variety of spices I use. Adobo is my favorite to use and I am looking for more that are as flexible as this spice. Any ideas?

If you want a multi-purpose seasoning Lawry's, the McCormick's Montreal steak and chicken, also Weber makes a number of spice mixes.
My favorite spice is probably cinnamon.

Mesquite seasoning and seasoned salt are constants in what I usually cook. Paprika too, but that's a little less common.

I added a Chinese five spice sauce to my stir-fry a few days ago, I approved of it's tasty goodness.

Lawry's seasoning salt and Black Pepper. You can never go wrong with that combination.

For seasoning fried chicken, I use a blend of salt, paprika, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder. It is delicious.

Recently, while making some Venison Flank Steaks, I decided to season them with some zatar/za'atar I purchased at a Middle Eastern import/export store. The results were quite delicious.

I am a big fan of coriander and cumin. Mix it up in some ground beef and potatoes and you got yourself some nice gringo tacos,

Coriander, Cumin, Cinnamon, Garlic Powder/Granulated, Onion Powder, Paprika, Crushed Red Pepper, Salt , Black Pepper, Chili Powder, Ground Mustard, Sage, Rosemary, Thyme, Basil, Oregano, Cayenne Pepper
You can now make 97% of everything.
Except Blue Milk.
I'm sure there will be 80 posts telling me I missed spices but that's not the point. What I am trying to show is that with about 15$-20$ of spices, you can make (or make something similar too) most common foods.

Smoked paprika is virtually impossible to go wrong with. Mix it with some salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried Italian herbs and prepare to salivate.
