Remembering that he completely kayfabed her when they were first dating. It's a wonder their relationship lasted as long as it did.

First review up on Amazon:
I read Bret Hart's book a few years ago and was so excited to hear that Julie was going to make a book telling her side of the story. I was surprised at how short this book is, it only has 153 written pages ( I know it says 164 but it's really only 153). The book was very poorly edited, a lot of errors, some sentences didn't even make sense. There is no flow to the book, it's all over the place. One chapter ends with her in a car in the early 1980's and then the next chapter starts in the mid 90's! Another time she's talking about Bret recovering from his stroke in the hospital and then in the next sentence she's discussing Bret cheating on her. I don't know if Julie meant to do this or if it was edited this way, this book could have been so much better.

Meh. I'm not a fan of autobiographies about someone written by someone else. There is no such thing. Autobiographies by definition are written by the people it's about. Books written by someone else is just a biography.

Things will get even worse for Bret when his Italian ex-wife releases her book too.

Will many people really buy this? The ex-wife of a pro wrestler who had hit his highest popularity peak in the mid-late 90s, doesn't really scream book deal. I'm sure some people will buy it, but not nearly enough to cover the cost of production (unless publishing books is extremely cheap). IMO, I'd be surprised if it even sells 4 out of every 10 copies. If there was ever a time to use that Bret pic...

Got this from the library last week. Finished it in one night. And it was god awful.
A little over 100 pages, jumped all over the place and didn't really shed new light on anything.
If you find it in a clearance bin and have nothing better to do sure, but please don't pay full price. It wasn't good.

"He was constantly sleeping with and getting drunk with anything that gave him adoration."
Me too. All the people who hate me never put out.

Sounded like it'd be a boring story.
How much substance can there be to a book that's about a wrestler sleeping around on the road?
I would figure I could get anything I cared to know about such a thing from a message board post. Don't need a book for it.
