I'm not sure what's so bad about the Alex Wright figure. I do recall it was available in Germany for about two years before it appeared on toy store shelves stateside.
Fun read.

I had 3 and 2. I actually kind of liked Jericho having a cat instead of a lion, it worked since he was a cowardly heel.

Man, the Attitude Era had some shitty figures. Of course some of those were made by Jakks, shocking I know.

I was never a big figure guy but what's wrong with Dennis Rodman, DDP and Alex Wright? All look like each wrestler to be honest.

I had none of those, but I remember seeing the maximum sweat figures as a kid and thinking they were horrendous.
The worst figure I had was a Big Show from about 1999 who was smaller than every other wrestler (despite being from the same line of toys). I don't understand how they could mess that up so badly; being tall was pretty much his whole schtick at the time and yet he looked more like Hornswoggle sized.

The Rodman one is a good figure despite what they say and I'm sorry but the DX Wiseguyz ones are cool as hell. If I could get a hold of them right now without paying ridiculous shipping fees I would.

I'd love to meet the person who came up with idea for those Maximum Sweat action figures, assuming he's still alive, because I'm sure he must have been on massive amounts of drugs at the time.

I was kinda expecting vibrating Kevin Nash to make an appearance.
The maximum sweat figures deserve their place. I don't understand how grotesque, roid filled versions of wrestlers that could "sweat" would've been appealing to any kid. I say that with full knowledge that I had the Road Dogg, Kane and possibly Austin figures.

I actually kind of liked Jericho having a cat instead of a lion, it worked since he was a cowardly heel. Exactly. I could actually see his character pull something like that. I guess any way they can try to snubb WCW by saying "no wonder he left". Yeah...because of an action figure. Also this little quote; Uhhh...what? Mero was pretty f***ing over several times in his career. I wouldn't say he got massive pops, but I guarantee some people in the company now would beg for the reaction that Mero got at times. I'd say in terms of "bad" figures, I'd go with one of the Paul Heyman figures they made several years ago. They floated around stores for years because of Jakks' poor design. Also, let's not forget the Andre the Giant figure, which just swapped heads with a Big Show figure.

What no love for Farmer Ahmed Johnson I had a few of those which is kind of sad So did I. I also had the Dennis Rodman, though his accessories are long lost. One figure that should've been on the list is LJN’s Rick Rude, for being completely unplayable. I mean, what do you do with it, elbow drop your opponent to oblivion?

Still better than the Unmatched Fury version, which looks like he had plastic surgery. And it's sad that LJN got the tattoo right, but Jakks "forgot" to, 20 years later.

What the hell is up with the skinny guy as Buff's accessory on the back of the Rodman figure?
Marc Mero in space!? Is that better or worse than a Leprechaun?
Scuba Thrasher!?
X-Pac looks like Jimmy Jam Garvin

Wasnt the DX wiseguyz based off of a cover to WWF magazine? And speaking of figures that were impossible to play with: Hogan DID have a bearhug as his finisher very early in his career, but by 1991 that had long been forgotten, and besides, can you even do ANYTHING with this one besides bearhugs?

I have that Jericho figure, unopened. Someone gave it to me as a gift years ago and I pull it out a few times each year in an attempt to sell it in a yard sale. So hey, if you want it....let me know.

I know it might be cheating but the article didn't specify that it had to be WWE/WCW. I wanted the bootleg pack to be on the list. And don't worry, the box art has Mike Benoit, not his murdering cousin.

My only complaint is the list should had been nothing but JAKKS Attitude Era action figures. They made some of the worsts I seen outside of a dollar store.
