A lot of people say worked shoots are lame and rarely work so I thought I'd make this thread asking if anyone on the board has honestly been worked by a worked shoot before. I'm sure it's a lot more common than most wrestling fans think.
I'll start:
1. I got worked with the Matt Hardy Vs Edge story line for quite a long time. WWE had me hooked even up to the part where Hardy jumps the rail and attacks Edge. I totally bought into the backstage assault and even the ring assault. Really well done angle that worked a lot of the IWC up until the very end.
2. The Russo/Hogan stuff I thought was real for years, ever since I saw it. I then read Bischoff's book a year or two after it came out and read the segment was a work and realized I got worked for all those years. Again though that angle is really well done and to this day it's still a big hit on YouTube
I don't remember any other times for me but feel free to share your own.

The Flair heart attack on Nitro initially worked me, as I didn't think WCW would go that low. Obviously I was wrong.

Is this a work? Am I being worked?
Also, if I hypothesized this hypothesis would I potentially enter the dark, unspoken realm of the Triple Work - am I already (t)here?

Never understood the Matt Hardy thing being believed since he got on the mic that night, and it's not like they wouldn't just kill his audio.

The bulk of this forum, save for me and one or two others, got worked by Foley canceling his feud with Ambrose for "mentioning his children," when months later it came out that Foley was told he wasn't medically cleared to compete and set the whole start-stop of their confrontation and blowoff as a viral way to get Ambrose some buzz.

Not sure if this counts, but my face was an absolute picture when Daniel Bryan returned at Summerslam 2010. The last thing I expected.

Yea, I didn't believe it was a shoot the second Matt showed up on TV. That said, it was a phenomenal angle. I was 100% invested in it. I was completely behind Matt and legitimately wanted him to hurt Edge. So in that sense, I was worked like a slave.

One or two of my mates, hardcore smarks, genuinley thought Mark Henry was retiring the other week, along with many other IWC people I would imagine so that's clearly a good one.

I got worked by RF Video a few times when I would order and then my order wouldn't show up, so I would call or email asking for the status of my order. They would ALWAYS tell me they were really busy after a sale, or that one of the DVDs I ordered was out of stock, but that it would be "going out in just a couple of days" and then I'd wait another 6-8 weeks. I got worked and never seemed to learn my lesson with them.

I used to think wrestling was real.
