www.gerweck.net/news/1167421274.shtml- Apparently WWE used Brad Armstrong on ECW television as a jab at VKM, since Armstrong and BG James are brothers. - There are no plans to drop the VKM angle or move it in another direction. - TNA continues to push talent to sign contracts that allows the company to handle a talent's independent bookings. Apparently TNA has decided not to book talent for house shows or use them on television if they decide against signing the new contract. - Ring announcer David Penzer is considered an “elitist” to many within TNA. Penzer doesn’t hang around with the boys, and doesn’t have the best rapport with talent. ------------------- And what exactly is VKM going to do now? Show up at a RAW taping?

- Apparently WWE used Brad Armstrong on ECW television as a jab at VKM, since Armstrong and BG James are brothers. Oooh zing. I have no clue why this would be news or even how it would get back at BG. Although I would laugh if Brad develops a personality as an announcer after so many years being the original Vanilla Midget And what exactly is VKM going to do now? Show up at a RAW taping? YES. They should of done that to begin with

Wow, TNA backstage is starting to sound more and more like WWE backstage.

I don't buy the whole Armstrong being used as a shot to VKM. I don't get how it would be, he didn't say anything about them. They're clearly auditioning him...so they can use him to make shots at VKM. There, I said it. Are you happy now?

WWE has weird shots at TNA. TNA takes shots at them by sending guys to their shows. WWE does it by putting someone who's related to someone else in TNA on television. Oh no!
At least WWE's way of taking shots has them putting over their talent, instead of what TNA does.

Yeah, I don't think these news stories are valid. Nothing against the person who posted it, but I think Gerweck may be posting speculations and posting it as news. I mean, ECW using Brad Armstrong as a jab at VKM? That is REEEEEALLY stretching it.

See, I could maybe understand if somebody said "DX wearing the football jerseys now is a shot at VKM!" but instead people go for the fringe stuff, like hiring one of BG's relatives. If that's all it takes then HBK is a running jab against Serotonin because of his nephew being in it by this logic.

Yeah, the Brad/BG stuff is probably crap. I mean, most of the Armstrong boys except Brian and "Bullet" Bob work for Vince anyways, so if Vince wanted to take shots, he could be a lot more direct about it.

^Very good point with the HBK thing. I don't see how it is taking a shot at VKM either.
TNA needs to let the wrestlers handle their own bookings accordingly. Just have them take mandatory dates off for tapings and PPV and other events they have. It's not that hard to do. TNA is paranoyed that their wrestlers are going to get hurt yet they are making the undercard do this who already get no TV time so there is little chance they get hurt.

Brad used to wear a jacket that had a wolf on it and said "The Armstrong curse". A buddy of mine made the astude observation of what the curse was and he said "You were born a jobber and you'll die a jobber". This idea of him being used as a jab is baseless and dosn't hold water

Brad Armstrong wasn't put on the ECW show as a jab to BG James, his brother. According to Meltzer, he was put out there as a sort of test run to see how he'd do. Tazz's contract is coming up and it's expected he won't be given a deal he wants so he may go into radio. Armstrong has a fun personality in the back so they gave it a try. Tazz realized what was going on and kept cutting him off.

Tazz a dick!! NO WAY!!!!!!! Well, I'm not enlightened as to whether or not Tazz is legitimately a dick backstage, so to me, it's kind of odd to see.
