What's funny about homosexuality? Real answer: Nothing. Nothing funny about being gay, just like there isn't anything funny about Batman. Place Batman in pretty much any situation though... Humor is not inherent in anything, it comes from having something pop up where you wouldn't expect. That's why there are theories that laughter used to be a way of warning people if things had gone wrong back when cavemen really needed some sort of sign to communicate that. It's a combination of "you really didn't expect this" and "but this would have a severe effect on the situation" regardless of whether that effect is good or bad. And having Ryback suddenly combat his failed heel turn with a gay turn is very much funny for those aforementioned reasons. What I'm saying is, being gay is just like being Batman. I think.

Will he start wearing more flamboyant outfits? He'll come to the ring dressed like "Adorable" Adrian Adonis. No no no.. Adrian Street!

Honestly a stereotypical flamboyant gay character would be an improvement for Ryback at this point.

I feel the need to partially bridge this thread with the NEWZ thread that said Ryback was too careless, so I'll quote myself. I am looking forward to the WrestleMania live performance of Ryback's new theme

I doubt a comedy gay character is in the cards for Ryback. But something needs to be done to reignite the spark he once had. And Chris Masters never did wear that sombrero.

"You people keep chanting "Brokeback" at me? Well, I'm going BAREBACK on the next guy who gets into this ring!" This is probably the funniest thing I've read all day. Now I need to see comedy gay Ryback...maybe he can feud with the New Nation?

He needs to grow out a mustache, though. Something so sleazy it puts Joey Ryan's to shame.
Also, full-on Demolition gear. He should also wear one of those Gimp masks with the zippers for his first few matches so people will be like "Is that Ryback?".

Nah, Ryback needs assless chaps, a pink vest and AJ's tiny cowboy hat.

What's funny about homosexuality? I like dudes, and I have no problem with "gay jokes". I'm all for "Being a STAR" and Showing Tolerance and Respect, but I don't think that means having to walk on eggshells around every minority group. That being said, Ryback is not my ideal dream gay character. Clearly, we know who your ideal gay character would be, but that's not gonna happen anytime... ...soon?

There weren't any gay people in Brokeback Mountain. Bisexuals, however...

I believe a gay character could absolutely work in WWE... Just not one written by Vince McMahon.

I still have no idea why they didn't run with that more than they did. I liked the leopard/tiger print wearing stylist Rico who hung around Billy & Chuck and 3 Minute Warning. He had this air of badassery about him. But I never really liked full on fairy Rico all that much.
