Just found mine on YouTube. Not sure if I can post the link to the whole show, so I won't. 1995 Pearl Jam, Soldier Field. I was 16 years old. Went with a 20 something waitress I used to work with ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) They were right in the middle of their battle with Ticketmaster, & the show was originally canceled, but they sold the tickets on their own instead. Bad Religion opened, wearing nun's habits. Great memories! What was yours?

Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton in 1982. I was 5 at the time and went with my Mom and Aunt. I am not much of a country music fan but even all these years later, I enjoy some Kenny Rogers from time to time.

Just decided to see Nugent at a local fest this Saturday. August 30 seeing Kid Rock & ZZ Top with the wife & my parents. Has to be somewhere around 60-70 for me. Will be #4 for the wife, & apparently around 150 for my dad.

My first concert was Korn's greatest hits tour at Arco Arena in 2004. Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, and Skindred opened.
That concert got me into rock music, my cousin dragged me to the show and I fell in love with the energy. Breaking Benjamin is my favorite band and with going to this show I probably would have never listened to them.

I forced my dad to take me to see Green Day on their Insomniac Tour in the mid-90s when I was in like 6th or 7th grade. It's funny cuz when I mentioned that to ppl when I saw Green Day earlier this year, the majority of the people there were not even born yet at that point.

I didn't start really going to shows until after high school... but when I was a junior in high school, hundreds of kids from my school skipped class and went to this downtown festival called Fall Out. The lineup consisted of Powerman 5000, Default, Eve 6, Rooney, Zug Island and I can't remember who else. It was f***ing awful, I was only half interested in Rooney at the time, and Powerman seemed like it could have been fun... just awful. Zug Island stands to this day as the single worst musical performance I've seen in person in my entire life.
I made up for it a couple of years later when I finally went to the first concert that I actually wanted to see and bought tickets for (Fall Out was free)... Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, and Death From Above 1979 was my first "real" concert... or what I'd like to tell people is my first real show.

My first concert was the 2006 Gathering of the Juggalos! Well, unless you count some small gigs my friend's band did.

Um, I saw Raffi in concert when I was really young. Does that count?
My first "real" concert was Bruce Springsteen in 1992.

Zug Island stands to this day as the single worst musical performance I've seen in person in my entire life. Really? I loved Zug when I saw them open for ICP last year, which I think was their 1st tour since getting back together. Syn had a lot of energy, doing a number of songs from within the crowd, and had the majority of their set as requests from the crowd. I wish my request for "Hiroshima" got played but it lost in an informal poll to "Prison Song," which is also a kickass song.

Yeah, man, it might just not be my thing, honestly... I just know that we walked in in the middle of their set (I believe they were the first act of the day) and they were just butchering "War Pigs". I remember my friends and I just going "what in the..." when we were hearing this. That didn't help, for me. This was back in the fall of 2003, I believe.
I will admit to not knowing a thing about their music, but never has a concert made me just go "no, never again" to an act quite like that one did. No offense if you like them, this has just been my long time go to answer for worst show I ever saw. I think my opinion was reinforced because anytime I talk to the people who went with me to that show (and a couple of them have gone to the majority of shows I've been to, as well, since then) they would say the same thing. It really was a long time ago, and again, I'm not trying to shit on people for liking them, that's just my memory of it.
