The Tigers and Braves have been crazy hot recently, yet it seems that all people want to talk about on the networks is Alex Rodriguez. I'd rather talk about the suspensions and PEDs than teams I don't even remotely care about. So a-roid is more important than a 10 game winning streak |

The Cardinals would have to finish 14-36 to finish under .500. Oh, we're only doing this for the Pirates and not every team? The Cardinals haven't had a two decade irrelevancy streak and also haven't completely blown two great looking seasons in the last couple of months. I do think the Pirates are going to actually get a playoff berth, if not a division title, this year because they have the pitching depth they lacked in seasons past. But you have to realize why the rest of us think there's a chance the Pirates are going to blow this, because they have before. Multiple times. In recent history. |

I missed this little gem from last night...
"When asked whether he was surprised Teheran hit him, Harper offered this nugget: “Uh, I hit that ball pretty far off him. So no, not really.”'
It's silly to say something like that when you're on a sub-.500 team that's 14.5 GB and you lost the game (by striking out to Kimbrel, I might add).
That comment is almost as embarrassing as his haircut and 'mustache'.
