With the exodus of Rios, Alexei Ramirez bumped to the 3rd slot, hits a HR in each end of a doubleheader against the Twins, not to mention launching a few towards the walls in other at-bats. I guess the guy really can hit according to where he bats in the line-up, that wasn't BS.
BS however, was Garcia being called up and we're constantly kept up to date on where he was in-route to the ballpark. I'm surprised they didn't have a helicopter flying over his car escorting him to the park.

The bullpen for the Rays, may want to give David Price something or avoid him.

Can we give Yadi a senzu bean or something to get him back in to the lineup already? Please?
"They're fictional" my ass, with DBZ's popularity you think some food/drug company in Japan would have developed them already. Why not Ajinomoto?

Hughes has about 50 pitches and he isn't even out of the second inning yet. Why couldn't they trade him at the deadline. I've never seen a pitcher struggle so much to get strike 3 so many times after starting off 0-2.

I've never seen a pitcher struggle so much to get strike 3 so many times after starting off 0-2. The entire major league knows that he's terrible, that's why. He even pitched like shit in San Diego last week. It's not enough that the Yankees are done as a serious playoff contender, but to see him start 9-10 more games is both an exercise in futility and hair-tearing frustration.

I can't wait for the offseason by this point. Because Hughes and Joba are both going to be gone.

Also ask this what are yankees thoughts on Cashman these days. talk to a couple of yanks fans the other day and they wanted him gone The entire Yankee front office (Levine, Trost, Newman, Oppenheimer, and yes, Cashman) need to be shown the door. Uncreative trades (Wells, Soriano), passing on talent that at least could have contributed to this year (Russell Martin and yet sign Kevin Youkilis) and the refusal to sell at the deadline tells me that everyone's gotta go. If they're really going to go for this frugal spending business model next season, I want to see GMs, scouts and so forth who can actually evaluate and decide talent. Also, the new Steinbrenners are free to shut the f*** up and never be heard from again as far as I'm concerned. Stick Michael can stay though. In other news, Alex Rodriguez's first homer is against Justin Verlander. Who knew?

Well, Brett Gardner saves the Yankees' sorry asses again.
Mo has been serving 'em up lately. His only saving grace is the fact that Miguel Cabrera is Miguel Cabrera and Victor Martinez has always had success against him.
