No, I'm not particularly a huge fan of ECW Reunion Shows but this seems like a no-brainer to me. TNA has a One Night Only PPV called "Hardcore Justice" every year that could be an ECW Reunion Card quite easily.
It's not something for the purists but with the popularity of ECW it could probably do a good amount of buys. Much better than what they dished out for Hardcore Justice this year.
They could use a lot of top guys like Dreamer, Sandman, Bully, D-Von, Sabu etc and fill the undercard with guys like Doring, Meanie, Scorpio, Guido, Justin Credible etc.
What do you guys think about changing the yearly One Night Only Hardcore Justice PPV to an ECW Reunion Show?

ECW needs to be finally buried once and for all without being carted out every so often for nostalgias sake.

They've have to call it EV2.0 or something equally ridiculous. It'd be cool to see a brutal Tommy Dreamer match once in a while, but no branded "ECW! but not really" come back.

I actually wouldn't be too opposed to this, but they'd have to be careful in doing it. As you can see by the initial responses people are sick to death of ECW reunion shows. Still, they can certainly draw well. I'd say maybe they could hold back on the concept a couple of years before doing it. Not sure, if even that would work as the ECW guys aren't getting any younger. Still, even though I'm sure indies won't stop doing ECW reunion shows in that time maybe if it is not featured in mainstream American wrestling for a couple of years fans who are sick of it now will warm up to the concept.

ECW needs to be finally buried once and for all without being carted out every so often for nostalgias sake. Whilst I agree TNA is still doing so anyway. I mean the One Night Only Hardcore show featured 8 former ECW guys so they were clearly trying to use the former ECW guys as a selling point. I figure might as well give the people the whole thing if you're going to give them a little taste.

I'm not against a ppv that has some of the feel and tone of ecw but how about leaving ecw dead where it belongs. You wanna use some ecw guys to keep the aurora then by all means. Tommy Dreamer can have a hardcore match and having him and a few others on the show would do much better than the last time tna tried to bring in the ecw stuff. It was dumb it didn't work and the ppv didn't compare at all. How many times will people care to see fat out of shape guys hitting each other with dollar store weapons?
A yearly hardcore justice ppv that features hardcore only matches and main events a monsters ball? Hell yeah sign me up. But keep the letters E C and W away from it.

They sort of have to keep the ECW name away from it, since WWE owns it.

Agree. TNA needs to stop trying to ape nostalgia and really focus on their own thing. Especially since they don't own the rights to ECW and can't profit off it.

Honestly, at this point if the ECW rises from the grave one more time someone should light up the HHH signal because his services might be needed. It's like...really?

Kind of a wild idea, but how about tna tries, I dunno, something new!!!
Hogan's face plastered everywhere, faction wars every time, and has been talent getting instant pushes. Last thing we need is digging up a dead promotion. Tna should thinking about the future, not the past.

Everything is rehashed or stolen from other major TV Shows these days. Even WWE does it.
