I just watched a bit of the "XWF Lost Episodes" DVD set (borrowed from a friend who picked up a used copy from 7-11 for 10 bucks):
1) Hail... is that Reese/Big Ron Studd/The Yetay?
2) Ian Harrison... where has he wrestled before, or since? Also, he's a big guy who screams a lot... why hasn't the WWE signed him yet?
3) "Quick Kick"?
4) During the Hennig/Bagwell match (and the Bagwell/Vito match), it was funny to see the fans booing Buff when he was supposed to be the good guy.
5) Who the heck was Drezden?
6) Horace Hogan... Is it me, or did it look like his chest hair was airbrushed on?
7) I loved the Valentine/Piper backstage bits, and would have loved to see more of them... When Dennis Stamp wasn't booked, he just went to his trampoline, but when Greg Valentine isn't booked, LOOK OUT!
8) It was nice seeing Public Enemy wresltling again, but Jasmine (St. Clair, I presume) did not look at all like she wanted to be there.
9) During the Styles/Kash match, it looked like AJ ripped his tights. Just thought it was funny.
10) Vapor... who was that? I've seen pictures of a wrestler in California named Keiji Sakoda that looks a lot like him.
And, I didn't get to watch the Hennig/Bagwell tag team match or the Hogan/Hennig match because the disc was skipping and stopped.

I just watched a bit of the "XWF Lost Episodes" DVD set (borrowed from a friend who picked up a used copy from 7-11 for 10 bucks): 1) Hail... is that Reese/Big Ron Studd/The Yetay? Emory Hale was a pet proejct of Jimmy Hart and even put-nobodyover-Hulk Hogan was high on him. of course, that means he coudln't cut promos for sh@t and had a work rate below a snail. He had a look, and they tried like hell to capitalize on it during the dying days of WCW, and in the failed XWF, and finally, in Memphis Wrestling, where he was part of a mediocre tag team naemd 'Money Inc.," managed by Jimmy Hart He died maybe over a year ago, from kidney failure. and he sucked You mean the, "South Philly Posse..." (snicker). Jasmine is a notorious c#nt in the adult business (nobody wants to work with her), the music business (nobody wants to work with her) and in the wrestling business (ECW didn't want her, XPW kicked her out, she caused 3PW to implode, couldn't draw at NWA CYBER SPACE, and currently, desperately tries to remain relevant in a world that has had their fill of her. Hell BLUE MEANIE DUMPED HER!). Too bad about PE. They deserved somebody better. Hell, NOBODY would be better than having to carry fugly, deadweight St. Claire. You're lucky. Both matches sucked. Nothing worth fretting over.

If it matters, I'm guessing Keiji Sakoda usedta be in Tajiri's stable with Akio in WWE. He was the first to go, though. So if that's the same guy...

The only answer I know is Quick Kick is Low Ki/Senshi I should have been moredescriptive in my orignial post... I knew it was Low Ki, I was just incredulous at this re-naming as "Quick Kick". I'm sorry to hear of this.

Wasn't the announce team Tony Schiavone and Jerry Lawler?
If so, I may want to track down a copy.

Yup, Tony and Lawler announced, Rena "Sable" Mero was CEO, Roddy Piper were commisioner, Gene Okerlund was backstage reporter, and Jimmy Hart and Brian Knobbs hosted the DVDs.

2) Ian Harrison... where has he wrestled before, or since? Also, he's a big guy who screams a lot... why hasn't the WWE signed him yet? I seem to have a vague recollection of him showing up in WCW once or twice in 2000 (or around that sort of time) on the shows taped in the UK. Might be someone else though.

I just got these dvds as well and I enjoyed them. Piper and Valentine were awesome. Some of the matches were too short and if they would have taken some time and slowed down the pace of the show I think this fed could have gone somewhere. They gave the reason of having no money. You would think with all the cash that Hogan, Okerlund, Hart, and even Roddy had that they could have tried to back the promotion.
