Okay, here's the deal. Whenever we discuss worked shoots, the same three usually come up. I'm referring to CM Punk's just before Mitb 2011, Joey Styles in 2006 and Paul Heyman before Survivor Series 2001. If those three are indeed the three best examples of a worked shoot, what comes in fourth place? Could it be Vince Russo's at Bash at the Beach? What is it?
Thoughts?

I'm going with Scott Steiner/Ric Flair. When I first saw that, my jaw hit the floor.

RVD and Heyman at One Night Stand 05. Were those worked? I doubt they were scripted, but I'm sure WWE knew the type of thing they were going to say. That's the way it was with Punk, Heyman and Styles' shoots as well though.

Matt Hardy and Edge...
...what?
But really, I enjoyed JBL and Eric Bischoff's ECW hate.

How is "I respect you, booker man!" not on this list? (Ignore this comment if this is WWE-only.) That was worked (although looked really, really real).

Even then, the gesture was so historically significant it deserves a mention.

I doubt WCW had any clue he was going to say that.

I wouldn't count something that was supposed to be nothing more than a cheap shot in the middle of a long promo and easily missed.

Kevin Sullivan did a YouShoot a couple years back where he emphasized he and Pillman worked this promo and their animosity. Eben many wrestlers were confused. I believe they would call each other instead of talking face to face to keep the work going.

The entire NXT season 2 finale.
No one planned that, for sure.
I guess it wasn't "worked" though =P

At that time (June 2011) heel Zack Ryder took the mic before the match on Superstars against face Primo and acknowledged the crowd going crazy for him during that promo, in what was an unscripted segment.

From what I hear Sullivan is less then reputable when it comes to backstage WCW stories though, he'll say whatever he has to to defend himself and avoid embarrassment.
