Rock beating Cena and Punk because it led to another Cena/Rock match.

Every WWE title change between CM Punk's wins at MITB and Survivor Series in 2011. The lowlight was Cena inexplicably beating Del Rio at his first title defense and then dropping it back to him two weeks later When Punk turned heel and started talking about how long his title regin was, they seemed to gloss over that part and kinda sorta implied that his reign started with the Cena match. Although it was funny to see Alberto join the Survivor Series team at the time captained by the guy who beat him for the title.

HHH winning the EC match that Goldberg should have won
Kane beating Austin in a First Blood match
HHH (racist) beating Booker T (victim of racism) at Wrestlemania (something)
Shawn Michaels beating Davey Boy Smith at One Night Only....in the UK, for a title Michaels didn't care about
Lex Luger beating Yokozuna by countout at Summmerslam 93
Hulk Hogan beating Earthquake by countout at Summerslam 90

The Henry/Ryback stuff really makes no sense when include the next night on RAW and the subsequent ppvs.
Henry should've face Cena at Extreme Rules, then they have a three way at Payback and then Cena/Ryback at Money In The Bank in an ambulance match.

To be honest... those two words could be slapped at the end of the majority of the major WWE angles. Vince's son... went nowhere Who blew up Vince's limo... went nowhere To be fair external factors messed with these storylines Kennedy being Kennedy and the Benoit incident respectively. Though even if they played out as expected I doubt they would have been very good.

And Awesome Truth's interference led to a match that meant nothing, and the entire storyline about a conspiracy and someone giving Awesome Truth their orders went nowhere. actually the storyline was basically the lack of C-O-N-S...PIRACY!

Punk should've never lost the title to Del Rio. Hell, he should've been the first to cash in & lose. I may be a bit biased though...

Shawn Michaels beating Davey Boy Smith at One Night Only....in the UK, for a title Michaels didn't care about With Davey Boy's cancer ridden sister in the crowd no less. Hell, Smith was originally supposed to win the match, but then Michaels went...well Michaels & got the result changed.

Not necessarily the result but R-Truth revealing his Achilles Heel to be a water bottle was bizarre.

HHH winning the belt back at Judgment Day 2000, only to lose it back to The Rock a month later.
Well, it doesn't make sense to me. Maybe someone here has a good explanation.

Triple H beating Booker T at WrestleMania to this day makes zero sense. Likewise for him winning the Elimination Chamber at SummerSlam '03. I would also add HHH beating Randy Orton at Wrestlemania 25 to this list.

Here's another HHH moment, albeit in a match where everyone knew he was winning: The Finals of the 2006 WWE #1 contender tourney. First off, it made no sense to add Big Show to the HHH/RVD match on Raw. Second, if you're going to add Show to the match, then he needs to be the guy jobbing in it. However, at the end of the day it was RVD who ate the Pedigree for no good reason, the HHH/Show feud was never really blown off, Big Show ended up doing nothing after that but tag with Kane (and do the May 19th storyline), while RVD was being groomed to win MITB and feud with John Cena.
I defy anyone to explain that booking.
Some stuff like Henry over Ryback is curious but it seemed like WWE pulled a last second switch and put Ryback vs. Cena instead of Henry. I'm still trying to figure out why Ryback was #1 contender when he hadn't won a major match in like 6 months. But really, every guy Cena has feuded with since WM fits that description. Henry suckered Cena in but really hadn't done anything to warrant a title shot. And ironically the one guy who in theory should deserve a shot (Bryan) was simply picked by Cena and actually did nothing to warrant a shot.

Maybe because if theyre two near evenly matched main event stars it's not implausible that if they have a series of matches they're both gonna have wins?

Triple H defeating Austin in the 3 stages of hell match. To this day...I don't understand why HHH won? It made no sense then and still doesn't over a decade later. The storyline was set for Austin to finally get revenge on the heel who had him taken out. He had just won the Rumble and was going to face the champ @ that year's WrestleMania and was on a roll.
Then he loses to HHH??? Really?...This was a perfect example of HHH winning a match he had NO business winning. Even if the final pinfall was more of a fluke it still shouldn't have happened.
