Mark Henry def the Rock at Judgement Day 1998. Like a month before the Rock becomes WWE champ.

Triple H beating Punk at Night of Champions got us absolutely nowhere. By the next month Punk was wrestling in a triple threat for the title and the issue with Nash meant nothing. All it got us was the weird texting thing that went nowhere.

To be honest... those two words could be slapped at the end of the majority of the major WWE angles. Nexus... went nowhere Vince's son... went nowhere The walkout... went nowhere Who blew up Vince's limo... went nowhere

From what I remember Awesome Truth were not part of any conspiracy. The only reason that they went on and on about a conspiracy was not because they felt WWE management were conspiring to keep THEM "out" of the main event/title picture.

I don't think Vince's limo should count considering it was dropped because of Benoit. Now, If you want to substitute that with the stage collapsing on Vince, then fine.
I agree with Punk/HHH.
I have a feeling after Sunday there will be a few more results to add to this list.

Ryback jobbing to Mark Henry WM29 Ryback winning or not really didn't matter at all. The point was never for Ryback to win or lose. The only purpose was for Ryback to get his "WrestleMania Moment" of "lifting someone big", which was going to happen regardless of the actual outcome of the match.

Triple H beating Booker T at WrestleMania to this day makes zero sense. Likewise for him winning the Elimination Chamber at SummerSlam '03.

I shouldn't have phrased it that way, but the hints that someone was working against Triple H, Punk, and Cena, and Awesome Truth was part of it. You had them interfering in Punk vs Triple H, Nash interfering in Punk and Trips vs Awesome Truth, Awesome Truth making sure Bertie kept the title at Vengeance (Nash did the same thing at SummerSlam), Awesome Truth causing chaos and the walkout, and their attitude completely changing around Big Johnny. That whole thing could have been an awesome civil war storyline, but it all went up in flames.

Forgot what exact match it was but it was a tag match on Raw. Big Show(who was in the match) pulled one of his opponents out of the ring to break a count on his partner. The ref rings the bell and it's counted as a DQ.

Yeah but at the time he was the hottest #2 face of the company. Losing that match killed his momentum and made his heel turn feel even more underwhelming. Edit: Plus Mark Henry's follow up was losing to Sheamus, getting injured, losing to Cena, and random face turn.

nWo Big Show helped Jericho win the WCW TV title in 1998 (Jericho references it in his book). Maybe they were just foreshadowing Jeri-Show would form...15 years later.

Ryback jobbing to Mark Henry WM29 This made no goddamn sense no matter how you slice it. Ryback clearly had the bigger upside so why have him get beat during a time period where was coming off a string of losses in big matches? It's not even like they put Henry over since he got left laying after the match was over. Just stupid.

Every WWE title change between CM Punk's wins at MITB and Survivor Series in 2011.
The lowlight was Cena inexplicably beating Del Rio at his first title defense and then dropping it back to him two weeks later
