... make blood okay? The WWE does this in old footage, they used to do it before on Smackdown when it was on UPN and CW, and even in non WWE things Black and white makes blood more acceptable. Anyone think this is bull s###

Maybe because red is such a vivid colour with many connotations relating to danger and death and such. Black and white tones that down somewhat.
I suppose it works slightly with me. Especially with the brutal blade jobs like Vince and Eddie, they look a lot less violent in black and white. Same with scenes of war in newspapers or on TV.
Then there's stuff like Kill Bill which was so cartoonish it didn't need the black and white censor.

Because if it's black and white, how do we know it's not just delicious, melted chocolate that the wrestler's had an accident with?
