I hope not. Never been a fan of his, ever. He got lucky as it is in the first place. No business being any higher than mid card champ.

how he lost the belt was total bullshit
Cena the guy who fights guys 100%, challenged rey mysterio at the end of raw, then beat him.
They could have had him hold it for a week at the least, then lost to cena after hyping it up the rest of the week.
Instead he loses it within the hour

The tag title would be a stretch for him right now, much less a major single title. Wellness and injuries make it not worth the risks.

I doubt he'll even wrestle again. They can't really put stock in him if he returns. He seems like someone whose body could break down at any point during a feud and then you wasted time on nothing.

Shouldn't have won it to begin with. The real question is: will he ever wrestle again?

Not many things will get me to stop watching WWE. Rey Mysterio, a guy who was stale as hell eight years ago, winning the title would probably do it.

Kinda the same reason (in my mind, at least) they've kept Wade Barrett stuck in limbo for so long and are only just now really giving Orton another notable program. They've been burned with both of them too many times to take real chances.

To be fair one of Wade's noticeable injuries came from trying to save a guy Big Show flung out of the ring with too much power. Not a criticism of the Big Show (accidents happen) but Wade risking himself to help out another guy would work for him and not against surely? Then again it's the WWE, maybe neither thing applies and we're applying logic to a broken game of creative Mousetrap.

Rey may not even win a match on TV again
