Tyson Tomko. When he came along rot around the Christian Era, I rolled my eyes and said, "oh look another WWE guy they will push over homegrown s". In the end he had a pretty good run in TNA and entertained me and IIRC, most of you in here were pleased with his time. He and AJ were a good tag team, he had some good spots. His comeback later fizzled . Thoughts?

Sucks about his comeback sucking. His work with Christian was some of my favorite in TNA 2007.

He was like fat when he came back...really fat. That kind of fat that pro wrestlers get but still have the remnants of formerly being ripped so its even sadder and more prominent that they are now FAT. I took one look at him and knew the fans weren't going to buy him.

This was a guy in TNA could made a star and was on his way until left got out of shape, got hurt, and this was personal life down the toilet. Just think if he just said and kept in shape and his personal matters in line. Where he would be now.

Tomko had a good run 'til that part where he turned on Christian and joined Angle. That pretty much killed off his career right there.

Wasn't TT arrested recently? He was, for armed robbery. He has (Or did have) a really nasty drug addiction.

Wasn't TT arrested recently? a few years back. He robbed a pharmacy, then shot up a boatload of Oxycodone pills (178 according to the police report) in a Chilli's bathroom.

He was a big guy that was actually athletic.
TNA has done a decent job with big guys. Abyss, Joe, Morgan

They really could of made him into their Batista if they pulled the trigger on his turn against both Angle & Christian. Instead he just continued to be a lackey & faded away. Quite a shame.

In retrospect, I think Tomko's demons were probably getting out of control, so cutting his push was probably the best idea.
Which is a shame, because I was really into the guy in 2008. It even reflects in my original username on here.

If I remember rightly, they killed Tomko before his comeback. He was getting quite big face reactions and they were teasing a turn on Christian, Batista style, and the fans really seemed to want it but they just made it a swerve, because TNA loves swerves, and he stayed heel.

Whatever happened with Tomko's charges? I can only find that he posted bail and went into WWE's rehab program.

Mighty nice of WWE to cover rehabs for workers who no longer belong to Titan Sports.
