So I'm going to be traveling internationally soon and seeing someone really close to me--kind of like a brother--and want to take along some wrestling-related mementos for him. I have bought him several T-shirts over the years, so he asked that I not buy any more if I'm thinking of some.
Caveats: He does not read English very well, so magazines and books are out of the equation. Even with that said, I am thinking about getting him an autograph of some wrestler because it would mean a lot to him. Even though they have text on 'em, I might also get him some trading cards just because you have good photography and don't know what you'll get.
Any ideas what to get?
Also, anyone know a good place to score wrestling autos on a bargain?

Does he like/collect wrestling figures?

Nah, but I have bought him a couple before. If I could get some for really cheap (as in get him two or three instead of one), I'd go for it.

What about DVD's? I don't know where you're from or where your friend is from but he may appreciate some hard to find wrestling DVD's.
As for the Autographs, eBay is probably your best bet. You should look for independent wrestling promoters who may be selling autographs from "names" they've used in the past. These are usually your legend wrestlers but if it comes from a semi reputable indy company you can be almost guaranteed it's legitimate.

Does WWE.com offer its site in multiple languages? If so you could probably get him a WWEShop.com gift card just to be on the safe side and let him get whatever.

Hey everyone, thanks for all the suggestions and sorry for missing out on responding to my own thread. I ended up going on a spree at Wrestling Super Store and got him a lot of scattered stuff. I only get to see him in person every few years, so I stocked up on stuff I can leave behind as future birthday presents.
Here's what I got:
WWE Chris Jericho 8 by 10 Full Color Photo WWE D Generation X Army Baseball Cap WWE Authentic John Cena 12 Rounds Autographed DVD Card (Hope this is legit. If not, he won't make an issue out of it) WWE Topps 2010 Trading Cards Pack of 7 Cards WWE Undertaker Cartoon Keychain WWE Alberto Del Rio Posed Full Color 8 by 10 Photo WWE Topps Classic Trading Card Pack of 6 Cards Official Hulk Hogan Hollywood Bandana WWE Topps 2012 Trading Card Pack of 7 Cards WWE Topps 2012 Heritage Trading Card Pack of 7 Cards Bret Hart Holding Tights Autographed 8 by 10 Photo WWE John Cena & The Rock Arms Raised at Wrestlemania 8x10 Photo
The Hollywood Hogan bandana is kinda corny, but I know he'll dig it, haha.
He's not much of a figures guy (I did give him a Ted DiBiase one ages ago that he displays near his workspace, though), so instead I got him some scattered small trinket things and novelties. Even with what I said about reading material earlier, I might also go through my old wrestling magazines and find some '90s ones he could enjoy for the nostalgia and pictures alone, and then see if I have any DVDs, too.
