Not for me, there are actually a number of matches I'd put ahead that one... 2002, however, was the best overall card for that event.
Bret vs. Hennig from 91 Bulldog vs. Bret from 92 Owen vs. Bret from 94 Bret vs. Undertaker from 97 TLC I from 2000
edit: and how could I even begin to forget Angle vs. Austin from 2001... brilliant match.

Also, Summerslam 89, Rude v Warrior was a match I enjoyed, had a great build up to it and Rude pulled a performance out of Warrior, YES!!! Such an underappreciated match! Maybe not on the all-time list but a very solid match. Rude works his ass off and Warrior holds up his end of the bargain. Their cage match the next year was decent, too. Warrior was kind of like Nash in a sense; put him in there with someone who could work with him and/or have him motivated and you could get a very good to great match from him.

I've always been pretty keen on Bret vs. Mr. Perfect at 1991, Bret vs. Owen at 1994 and Bret vs. Undertaker at 1997. If Shawn Michaels is Mr. WrestleMania, Bret Hart is unquestionably Mr. SummerSlam. Wasn't there a poll on here last year asking who should be called Mr. SummerSlam? IIRC Edge won with Bret a distant second. Or maybe it was the other way around. At any rate I'd agree with you about Bret (only he would be Mr. The SummerSlam) despite what others may think.

What I find weird is how many classic matches we have from 91-2002, but from 2003-2012, none really jump out at me. The best match in that period may be John Cena vs Batista at 2008

Bret vs Bulldog - the perfect match, story, setting, and vitally important in the history of the company.
