They really expose how crappy the mid-card titles are when all they can ever do is name past champions who have long since retired.

Battleground, as sold to us by the guy who won't be there! From now on John Cena will be playing the role of The Butcher of the Somme, Field Marshall Hague. Does this make Daniel Bryan into General Melchett?

Ryback being the Heyman guy is a let down

I'm thinking the Shield loses the tag titles. At least one champion has to lose tonight.

I tuned in kinda late. Can someone post the results up till now please? Primetime Players won Tag Team Turmoil, Axel beat Kofi, AJ won the four way, RVD beat del Rio by DQ, and Heyman and Axel beat Punk via Rybackference. Thanks mate.

Ryback as the new Heyman guy? Remember when "a Heyman guy" meant Brock Lesnar or CM Punk? Now it means "whoever is in the midcard and has no idea how to use his mouth". Though this one can barely wrestle too, so I want Curtis back now.

If the top three aren't Austin, Cena, and Hogan in ANY order, it'll be considered immediate bullshit. The only other result than those three I'd accept is Triple H and ONLY if they follow it up with a shot of H leaving a room full of people on computers. "Good work guys!"

Punk/Ryback is even heating up in October! Holy crap did we go back a year? Only this time, Punk's the hero and Ryback is evil. Innovative booking.

I'm pretty sure Ziggler is losing, and we all pretty much know Bryan is losing. The only saving grace left for this show would be the Prime Time Players winning the tag titles.

I'm kind of torn with this match. All of The Shield will probably retain, but I kind of want them to drop their titles. At the same time I don't want Ziggler to go from WHC to US title.

Dolph has heat. Gets US title match. When was wrestling for the world title 2 months ago, it's certainly a demotion.

Doesn't understand that constantly running into masses of people in no mans land will get his arse handed to him on a corpsey RKO platter... Sounds about right!

I like Dolph pointing at Lawler before the last elbow drop. Very menacing.
