Card prediction: WWE Title: Randy Orton vs Daniel Bryan vs CM Punk John Cena vs Triple H World Title: Alberto Del Rio vs Cody Rhodes vs Dolph Ziggler vs Christian vs Rey Mysterio (basically, they're stuffing everyone that doesn't have much to do in this match) Tag Titles: The Shield vs Big Show and Mark Henry US Title: Dean Ambrose vs Rob Van Dam Divas Championship: AJ vs Kaitlyn and/or vs Natalya (seems like they aren't done with Kaitlyn/AJ or she would have probably pinned her at SS) IC Title: Curtis Axel vs Kofi Kingston ( ) Kickoff: Battle Royal where the winner faces the IC Champion on the PPV

Okay, so after tonight's RAW... Bryan/Orton, Del Rio/RVD, and Henry Show/Shield seem obvious. I'll guess Ziggler/Ambrose for the US title too, considering RVD's moved on and they just had Ziggles get a Shield beatdown. No definite hints for AJ yet, but Natalya or one of the Funkadactyls would make the most sense. And maybe Miz/Fandango on the preshow.
Biggest question is still what they do with Punk. Axel's the only Heyman guy left for him to have matches against, but the IC title is pretty far beneath him.

I'd rather see Axel vs. Punk than Axel vs. Kofi. I'm tired of Kofi being treated like the only midcard face that exists. They should either push someone else towards the title, or put the IC Title on a big name who can elevate the belt and be a fighting champion.
I think Punk would be a good choice to hold the IC Title. Sure the IC belt is beneath him, but I feel that:
A.) As the "Best in the World", Punk doesn't pass up the opportunity to wrestle for ANY championship. B.) As the "Voice of the Voiceless" who wants to bring about change in the WWE, he'd love to put the midcard over and make it matter as much as the main event. Not competing for the IC Title would only further perpetuate the Status Quo of "Only the main event matters" and thus it would contradict all his talk about change.

Anyone else forget the IC title still existed until seeing Axel tonight?
Hell, I forgot Axel existed.
Yeah, I only watch RAW.

I'm going to guess, with Van Dam apparently defending Mexico's honor against del Rio, the talk about Cody wanting the World title will lead to him and Sandow for the briefcase, maybe in a ladder match to mix it up though I doubt it because WWE generally doesn't give the midcard gimmick matches for some reason, where Sandow can finally get a win over him.
Then again, they have two October PPVs, could easily just build Cody / del Rio on the backburner for the second of them, I guess.

Also, like you said, based on Raw, I'm gonna switch RVD & Dolph in my guesses for title matches, but I'll stick with my predictions for the other titles.

Apart from Show-Henry/Shield I think there'll be some sort of multi tag match if WWE goes on with this "revival" of the tag division. We'll see though.

I think one of or both of the WHC and Tag Team matches will feature multiple challengers.

I really don't want to see Punk vs Axel. I can't think of who else he could face though unless he gets shoehorned into the WWE title picture somehow. I think one of or both of the WHC and Tag Team matches will feature multiple challengers. Maybe Shield vs PTP vs Show/Henry vs Usos?

I really don't want to see Punk vs Axel. I can't think of who else he could face though unless he gets shoehorned into the WWE title picture somehow. Agree. I have a feeling if they go with it for the ppv it could be even more disliked, considering the last ppv match that had Punk in was a classic. It will be such a contrast. I don't want to assume it will be, but how Axel has been since the redebut how can that not be the expectation it has?
