Is a Big Show heel turn too predictable at this point? Because I think that is the likeliest outcome. As much as we hate it for being predictable, it honestly needs to happen.

Big Show costing Bryan the NoC match and then feuding with Bryan for the next few months could work well for DB, since it keeps him out of the title picture (so that him vs. Orton will actually look like a fresh match around Wrestlemania season, which is the earliest I can see Randy dropping the belt), and lets Bryan win a feud against someone credible in the meantime. Only question would be who Orton fights at the next PPVs. Probably Punk.

I just don't like face Big Show crying, chewing the scenery and stealing Bryan's spotlight as the main face in this angle. I'd rather see Miz, Ziggler, Cody, or a low carder in that role. Someone who can get a decent rub without making it seem like Bryan needs a babysitter. You're not gonna see Miz saying " I'm sorry for kicking your ass, little friend. Please don't die little friend."

I think he can be really effective in either role (not as The Big Crybaby but he can still be a good babyface sine he's a genuinely likeable guy and it comes across) but I'd rather him stay in one role for like at least a year.

So, unless Kofi wins the title on Main Event or SmackDown, there's no point in having a Night of Champions next year because the point is lost.

I still say we get a batshit crazy insane cliffhanger of sorts after Orton vs. Bryan that leads know to next Monday's Raw.

So who does Ambrose defend the US title against? Christian? Ziggler, I would guess.

Night of Champions is a five match card.
That seems insane.

I like how, like Orton at Summerslam, Big Show's nowhere on the card after being prominently featured all through the buildup, just to make sure his appearance in the main event segment is completely predictable.

Night of Champions is a five match card. That seems insane. Winners of the tag team turmoil face The Shield that night so six technically but yeah it still seems slim.

^I just really don't like Big Show as a face and as a centerpiece to this storyline, especially when he's seemingly being booked as the "top face" over Bryan
Show should've never come back as a face to begin with.

How is he being booked as the top face? He's the one looking like a pussy because he doesn't have the guts to go against Triple H's orders. While Bryan is looking like the hero going against the odds.
Who are the fans more likely to rally for? The superstar that's fighting the entire evil corporation by himself, or the spineless one that's constantly crying?

While Bryan is looking like the hero going against the odds. I think it's more a question of agency. All these segments are about "What will Big Show do?" with the implication that him dominating Bryan if he wanted to is a foregone conclusion. Bryan may be doing the right thing, but he's more the impetus for Big Show to make a decision. The Paul Heinreid to Show's Humphrey Bogart.

But about the "What will Big Show do" segments, they still revolve around Bryan. Being top face is about being the hero of the story, and that's not the crying and indecisive Big Show. Bryan's the one at the center of the whole storyline, while Big Show's just being used to enhance the main star. Also, Big Show only got involved in the storyline because Bryan's been going against the odds. It makes no sense to stack the odds even more against Bryan by turning him heel. If that were to happen, you might as well just drop Bryan back to the midcards and have Orton run rampant until Cena and Sheamus return to destroy the entire corporation by themselves.

But those segments paint Big Show as being Bryan's hero. If they need someone to "enhance" Bryan that's fine. But while Bryan does need allies, those allies need to be guys who can support him and rally BEHIND him, not babysit him and wipe his ass for him. Obviously this is a big angle, and WWE wants to keep their bigger names busy by giving them something to do, but Show is just needlessly taking the spotlight. And since Bryan can't be in the title picture forever, he might as well get screwed by Big Show at NoC and start chasing him. Show doesn't even have to join HHH. He can just say that Bryan forced him to compromise himself and he wasn't going to take it anymore.
