It could work if they made Orton a dominant champion who took on all comers. Lesnar isn't going to be around all the time, so Punk could get a month or two with Orton until Lesnar returns. Bryan could fight against some chosen obstacles like The Shield or Barrett. And the presence of HHH and the McMahons would also allow WWE to throw "lesser" opponents (Ziggler, Miz, another "one more match" for Christian, or even an undercarder getting a surprise push) into the title picture without the angle being downgraded into "midcard" status

I won't be surprised that Triple H went all evolution again and just destroy and injury orton,awarding the title for himself,i guess he can since he is COO and the title would be vacant.
