H ordered them around like they were his personal bitches. This. If this is what they've been demoted to - royal guard for the Corporate Rehash - I don't think this is a SHIELD I can believe in.

Good thing they'll end up being cannon fodder for the faces in the next few whiles or so.

I love how being placed back in a main event angle is seen as a demotion.

You know how the Corporation had Big Boss Man act as their security force, that is the role the Shield is taking.

It's their three-Man Boss Man tribute act.

I love how being placed back in a main event angle is seen as a demotion. Chris Jericho and the Miz were (technically) in the main events of WrestleMania X8 and 27 respectively, as in the last match on the card with the WWE title, which they were both defending, on the line. Jericho spent that time scooping dog poop and Miz spent his as the third wheel to a Cena/Rock feud.

I think The Shield was made to look strong on RAW to pose, individually, as strong foils to Bryan. No way they give away Orton vs. Bryan for the WWE Title at Night of Champions already. Triple H and The McMahons are going to stall it out like crazy, demanding that DB go through each member of The Shield before getting another title shot. Thus... Bryan vs. Rollins at Night of Champions Bryan vs. Ambrose at Hell in a Cell Bryan vs. Reigns at Battleground then finally, Bryan vs. Orton for the strap at Survivor Series I would switch Ambrose and Reigns. Ambrose seems like he's the commander of The Shield thus he should be the last boss before Orton.

I could see this angle being the start of The Shield's split up. Eventually it's gonna happen.

I'm not trying to be deliberately rude or obtuse, but I just can't see your point, or how this relates to the Shield You've used the two worst examples, when there have been many who were placed in the main event and stayed there the rest of their career (Eddie, Batista, Edge, Cena, etc). Not that I'm saying this is gonna be the making of Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins, but to me, a true demotion would be, losing their titles and being taken off tv.

I want the entire face roster to trash talk Triple H on the website, leading to an entire Raw devoted to the Shield facing each and every one of them one at a time three-on-one, eventually going completely exhausted and just repeatedly getting the hell beaten out of them. Then they turn face due to being overworked.

I love how being placed back in a main event angle is seen as a demotion. Especially when you take into account all of the dirt sheets that claim that Rollins and Reigns have heat backstage.

Keep in mind, the two people I mentioned were champions going into the main event of Wrestlemania and they still got shafted; the SHIELD is playing glorified security for Corporation 2.0, the necessary fall guys to have Bryan "get one over" without actually touching a McMahon-Helmsley or, yet anyway, Randy Orton. I'm sorry, but I just don't see how that's something to get excited about.

All three SHIELD members should be thrilled.
WWE booked them to look devestating yesterday.

The Shield had nothing better to do. Feud with RVD/Henry/Show? They are still going to defend the tag titles against Henry and Show and now are back in a major angle. They are hired mercenaries right?

Who would Orton be fighting that whole time then? Handpicked challengers by Triple H -- Kofi, Ryder, etc They'd be getting a huge push in a way -- spotlighted in the WWE title picture -- and would look good in defeat a la Taka and Maven who went toe-to-toe with HHH back in the day. Logically this makes sense, but you can't sell a PPV with your main event champion put in matches you know he will easily win just for storyline purposes. NoC will be Bryan vs Orton with a ton of interference, which will probably lead into a blow off at Hell In A Cell.
