My headphones aren't working right, so I watched all of Raw with the sound broken in some bizarre way, where I could hear the crowd, music and mic work, but couldn't hear the commentary.
You know, I've never been one to rag on the commentary teams, especially Michael Cole who I've been defending for the best part of a decade, but... Raw was sooooo much better without them.

I actually thought Cole did an amazing job at Summerslam.

Conversely, I prefer watching Raw with the wit and charming commentary from right here... in the FAN Forums! /thumbs up and grin/

I'd love a Japanese commentary option. They make every move sound awesome. I saw bits of Summerslam online after the event was over because I couldn't order it. Portuguese commentary is where it's at.

The commentary team really colors people's perceptions as they watch show. Like Regal and Dawson on NXT gave the show a very different vibe than Raw or SD.
The team they have now isn't terrible at all, its just the product and wrestlers have all changed so much and the commentary team really hasn't. Its weird.

I've had my headphones break like that before. In my case, I listened to this Prince track and was able to more clearly hear some of the vocal parts that were kinda buried in the mix. Finally being able to decipher what was going on in the vocal harmonies was really fun.
