I am totally fine with it, provided Bryan ultimately benefits when it is said and done. I think he probably will.

This why I'm loving it. I get people are skeptical of Bryan coming out ahead later, but I honestly think they know how over he is with the crowds. I don't think if the ratings deplete that they'll blame it on him de-push him. Regardless of how it does go down, if Vince stays at his craziest that we love him for and if both Hunter and Stephanie maintain how they were the other night this is going to be a very very fun angle.
I also love that it has a lot of Attitude Era vibes to it that feel organic and in a good way. Its almost like WWE is now on the 90s Nostalgia Train that's going to hit pop culture very soon (if it hasn't already).

Only concern I have is if they do it for an extended period of time and leave Daniel Bryan being the guy who gets demolished and retaliates too late for the crowd to care that much, or the retaliation isn't sufficient enough to leave a dent on this stable, and it falls on someone else to handle it, like a returning Cena or Punk or whoever later on. I think that could severely damage his character. I don't believe this will happen but they've done wrong to others in the past. That being said I love this turn of events. The McMahons had superhuman levels of douche on that episode of Raw, it's clearly their forte.

I just hate when they drag things out too long. I feel like by the time the Bryan gets a real run at the top ill be completely bored and annoyed by the whole process. Which could be said for Shield character development as well.

They do need to vary it every week. Have Bryan score some victories over the New Corporation. Austin vs. McMahon was a hot feud because Stone Cold still got in his fair share of wins over Vince and his goons. This feud can't always have Trips and his pals coming out on top every week.

I just hope that they introduce a diva, any diva to throw down on Steph and her annoying self.

You see, everytime that people say that HHH doesn't belong in the list of the greatest wrestlers of the attitude era with the likes of Undertaker or Mankind, I remind how f***ing EFFECTIVE were him and stephanie as the top heels in the period to say that he belongs in the list of the greatests from that era
He was not the rock or austin, but imo he is just behind them

I just realized that HHH has been a face for the past 7 years, so a change was long due.
I actually think this could have been the Cena heel turn, as he was perfect for the corporate champ, and the guy the McMahons thought was "best for business", but his injury took that off the table. Still, it was past time for Orton to turn too.

I think that Bryan/Orton WWE title will last till WM or at the very least be the WWE title match at the event.
However, I believe Punk or Cena will ultimately be the ones to take down the "Corporation" in the end. Or like a returning Rock or Steve Austin.
Personally, I think Cena becoming a part of the corporation when he comes back and battles Punk for the WWE title would ultimately be the best.
No Brock, No Rock, No Undertaker. Unless they were all willing to take a step down the card and let Cena and Punk rightfully end their long feud at Wrestlemania 30, that would be the best.

It feels too simple for me (not the storyline, which just started, but the alliances). Triple H saying that he doesn't like Orton but that Orton's the kind of person the company needs to represent them.
I'm thinking there's going to be a double cross at some point, either Triple H and Orton going after Vince or Vince and Orton after Triple H.

Apparently, there are rumors Vince turns face sometime soon, so maybe H grows a bit too powerful and forces him out of power, leading to Vince relying on unlikely allies to help stop Trips and Orton.

Makes sense. Someone here put forth a storyline where Vince begrudgingly goes to Bryan after being ousted and gaining respect for him that way.

I'm actually loving it. HHH, Orton, Vince, Steph and the Shield as hired goons just seem SO unstoppable you can't help but pull for whoever is fighting against them.
I'm normally one of those guys who always wants the heels to win, but I hope Bryan f***ing destroys them all. Great stuff.

I'm a pretty big HHHater but even I can't deny HHH was one of the biggest stars of the attitude era. Just like the Smackdown 6, there was the Attitude 6 - Austin, Rock, McMahon, Foley, Taker and HHH. It's the reign of terror and after that the hate started. It's only when he's on a short list of GOAT lists that people think he shouldn't belong.

This is all well and good except I don't like the fact that Triple H is STILL trying to be that guy. He's pretty much retired from wrestling a full time schedule and has an office job within the company, yet he still tries to be that same guy he was in 2000 and it's disheartening to me. Wearing leather jackets and jeans, spitting water, putting on his best tough guy voice, etc. Ever since he became an on screen authority figure I've thought that he should transition into a more mature "character". Change his entrance music, drop the Triple H moniker, things like that. I mean he's halfway there as he's gotten rid of the long locks and wears suits most of the time. But, if they're slowly transitioning Triple H into Vince's position on screen and of screen, they need to fully commit to it and go all out. Have him go by Paul Levesque, hell shave his beard and have him speak in a typical corporate manner to drive home that he's "sold out". Now he's Paul Levesque, the COO (Or Chairman, when we finally get to that point.) of WWE and not Triple, the ASS-UH KICK-UH, the ONE-UH TRUE-UH DESTROY-UH, the KING-UH OF-UH KINGS of DIZ-UH BUSINEZZ. It's a little childish and unprofessional in my opinion to have the owner (Well, in the future.) of your company to be called "Triple H" and come out in leather jackets and spitting water over himself while "IT'S-UH ALL-UH ABOUT-UH THE GAME-UH!" is blaring over the P.A. system, but that's just me.

I agree, it's great stuff. I think all four (adding Orton to the OP's list) are much better as heels, and they're positioned perfectly to establish Bryan as the company's next marquee babyface, something they've needed to do for a long, long time. Cena can't carry that banner forever.
Provided they follow through, this should be a hell of an angle. Though if they don't follow through, it'll be hell for the fans.

It is really exciting. You have the throwback to the Attitude Era, a little bit of Evolution era and the new breed that is The Sheild all looking so dominant. It's going to take alot more than Daniel Bryan to crush these guys but whoever goes along with him will get tons of face heat from this.
