I'm not the biggest fan of it. There's no real variety to it anymore. Everybody wrestles like a video game. No story, no reason for anything, just MOVES~! Don't get me wrong, that certainly can be fun to watch but for me, it just get old after a while. This would probably annoy quite a few TNA fans but I wouldn't shed a tear if they just axed the division altogether. That thing is a freaking wreck right now. I actually really enjoyed the stories they build around the division when Sabin returned - especially his feud with Kenny King. The problem they had at that time was that every match had to be a three-way so they had a third wheel, which hurt the contest. The one time that worked was when Aries was pretending to be Suicide for a week & they built the show around who was under the mask & the rematch the week after which main evented. I like both those stories alot. Now it appears to be back to it's regular spot on show - random match in the middle of the show which no real reason or purpose.

WCW's cruiserweights were very good at getting you invested in the back and forth even with the MOVES!!! aspect of it. The X-Division used to be pretty good at that too when it was just about great wrestling, back in '05 or even up to '08 or so. These days half of the wrestlers come across as just being too green to sell properly to me, but then it turns out they've been backflipping for years on the indies and that's just the way they wrestle.

I think the X Division lost a lot when Xema Ion left. He was kinda the thing that kept my interest in it after Aries left. More important than that was that it became clear that Sorensen wasn't ever going to return. It really seemed like they were moving the pieces around for Sorensen to get revenge on Ion for what happened, claim the X-Division championship, and ride a wave of momentum into cashing on Bully Ray as the ultimate underdog. They are lucky Sabin happened to salvage the end of it, but instead of Sorenson chasing Ion, we got the laziest Rob Van Dam ever and having to look at Kenny King through a referee camera. They really need to have more storylines planned, and the Spring should see a lot of guys who have risen above the Division going back to having matches with X guys to increase competition over the Option C title shot. This X100. It was so obvious they were building Sorenson to fight Ion at BFG but for whatever reason (whether you believe Jesse's story or TNA's or whoever's) the plans changed. They gave Ion the belt and had him put a bunch of guys on the shelf (I think storyline wise he put Sonjay, King, Dakota Darsow, and maybe one other guy out with injuries) but then when Jesse wasn't ready/not cleared/whatever for BFG they took the belt off Ion. I thought King did okay as X Division Champ, and I liked his feud with Sabin, but they kind of rushed things to get Sabin into a program with Bully Ray for a short little mini feud. That and the 3 way stip was dumb, but they got rid of that real quick. If the rumors about TNA looking for new (cheaper) talent, If I were them I'd look at new guys to help build Manik up.

I liked Kenny King in ROH, but he has never looked any good in TNA, at all.

I didn't think I had any problem with it but one day realized I fast forward through those matches most often...moreso with the constant triple threats.
