I'm not the biggest fan of it. There's no real variety to it anymore. Everybody wrestles like a video game. No story, no reason for anything, just MOVES~! Don't get me wrong, that certainly can be fun to watch but for me, it just get old after a while.
This would probably annoy quite a few TNA fans but I wouldn't shed a tear if they just axed the division altogether. That thing is a freaking wreck right now.

I don't like it either. It feels like a bunch of spots with no story. I just don't find the high flying style exciting anymore. Unless you can tell a great story and do something other than high spots, it's just a meaningless match in my eyes.
I also feel real bad saying this because I am a big fan of TJ Perkins, but this Manik character and the X Division is just zzzzzzzz to me.

The main thing that I don't get is the whole X Title = MITB for some reason(which was probably just used for those couple of weeks, because I doubt that Hulk or anyone even bothers to ask Manik if he wants to cash in for a shot at Bully Ray)
As for the action it's okay but I can take it or leave it. It's nowhere near what it was at it's peak.

I think it needs a reboot and also stick to traditional one on one matches. Bring back guys like Petey Williams and Sonjay Dutt or sign guys like Trent or Jigsaw it can still work as long as they put some emphasis on giving it a try

I'm not a fan of the mess it's become now. Yes, it was always about a faster paced, more hard hitting style but at least back when a guy like Joe held it you had a storyline.

Always have been, always will be.
What I don't like is when people say the same things they've always said about the X-Division and the style. Spots, no story, it's not as good as it used to be, whenever that may have been.
I would like to see a few more talents than what they have, and bringing back the occasional 5 or 6 man crazy-for-the-sake-of-crazy match.

I'm not massively into it anymore but still feel it has a place and TNA just need to tweak it a little.
1. As someone said. It needs more story lines I don't even remember the last time the X-Division had an interesting story line and that probably comes down to the Triple Threat thing more then anything (Which they've just changed) but back in the day you had Joe/Angle, AJ/Daniels, AJ/Joe, Sabin/Low Ki and despite some being Midcard feuds they were still good story lines with good matches
2. More wrestlers. Guys like Manik are okay for a small reign but you can't build a division around them. I'd like to see Sabin return to the X-Division and maybe have Chavo, Daniels and Kazarian go back and wrestle that division again. You'd then have Manik, Sabin, Daniels, King, Kazarian, Chavo and maybe even sign a couple guys like Paul London, Shane Helms etc to add to the division. Maybe a couple of talented indy guys also (Adam Cole maybe?)
3. Drop the Destination X clause completely. Admitting one belt is lesser to the other isn't good
4. Occasionally when guys like AJ Styles, Austin Aries, Samoa Joe are not involved in a feud have them go back to the X-Division. How cool would it be to see AJ as X-Division Champion again even if it was just for a couple months?
I also am in the boat of not understanding what everyone liked in the "old days" of TNA. People complained that the X-Division was all about AJ, Daniels and Joe back then.

I like cruiserweight-style wrestling. But, I don't like the X-Division at all in it's current incarnation. Their matches are short so they cram a million spots into 4 minutes, it's usually a 3 way and everyone's trying to get their shit in, and the wrestlers at the moment aren't all that inspiring. Manik and Trent Baretta (is he even still there?) are the bright spots right now, other than that it's the likes of Jobjay Dutt and Rockstar Spud. Kenny King is decent but I think he's a better fit in the midcard, not in the X-Division.

Way back when, the X-Division was the best thing TNA had and was arguably better than the main event scene. I miss those times. It's like TNA can't make every division feel important anymore, when they clearly have done it before.

I don't mind it now, I used to love it back when. They need to drop the weight limit stip, drop plan c and put a few guys in the mix who want to win it because "it's the X-division title, and it's exclusive to TNA".

I think the X Division lost a lot when Xema Ion left. He was kinda the thing that kept my interest in it after Aries left.

I liken the X-Division to the WWE's Smackdown. Both were once great and vital to the success of their respective companies but have since fallen to the wayside.
Both can probably still be fixed and made successful once again, but will probably never reach their previous heights.

Both can probably still be fixed and made successful once again, but will probably never reach their previous heights. They can at least try. Both companies. Maybe I'm biased because SmackDown was the brand I watched growing up and the X-Division was the reason I got into TNA.

The X Division is pretty damn sad right now. There aren't any storylines about the belt that don't involve Option C, and they don't have any feuds or real characters, to be honest. Sabin only got promo time because of TNA World Title cash-in, but before that, it had been quite some time since anyone had done any kind of mic work.
If they're going to keep it as a separate division (because I personally wouldn't mind them just abandoning the concept and doing a legitimate Mid-Card belt), they need to bring in more international talent. They need to find guys from Mexico and Japan, and give it more of a WCW Cruiserweight Division feel. They also need to bring in some of the more exciting, high-flying talents from the independent scene. Because right now the division is Manik (a character that needs to die), Sabin, Kenny King, and guys that they can bring in for one shots (Petey, Sanjay, etc).
But with their current financial situation, it's going to be hard to bring in the necessary talent to build the division back up, unless they use short term deals or keep paying guys per appearance.

I think the novelty's wore off a lot. It's just not that exciting anymore. Couple that with the fact that the smaller guys aren't known for their glistening personalities, and it's became kind of a bore.

I think the X Division lost a lot when Xema Ion left. He was kinda the thing that kept my interest in it after Aries left. More important than that was that it became clear that Sorensen wasn't ever going to return. It really seemed like they were moving the pieces around for Sorensen to get revenge on Ion for what happened, claim the X-Division championship, and ride a wave of momentum into cashing on Bully Ray as the ultimate underdog. They are lucky Sabin happened to salvage the end of it, but instead of Sorenson chasing Ion, we got the laziest Rob Van Dam ever and having to look at Kenny King through a referee camera. They really need to have more storylines planned, and the Spring should see a lot of guys who have risen above the Division going back to having matches with X guys to increase competition over the Option C title shot.
