The Fight Network aired TNA Victory Road 2008 today and the second to last match on this show (Kurt Angle & The Dudleys vs. Christian, AJ Styles, and Rhino, Full Metal Mayhem) is hilarious for the most unfortunate reasons. D-Von trips over a broken piece of table early in to the match and literally limps his way thru the rest of the match like nothing's wrong because dude is a beast and we're in the hell business. Time passes until we're at the last half of the match, where once again there's a broken piece of table just chilling, and the most horrible/hilarious thing that could possibly happen happens. Poor old Earl Hebner f***ing trips over the table and IMMEDIATELY is clutching his ankle on the floor like Peter Griffin. Dude literally cannot get up and is stunlocked on the floor until he has to count the pin. This is the closing shot of the match.

That’s not the first time earl hebner was in a wrestling ring in agony with his ankle. He did something similar although unlike in the image above he was able to at least stand at WM 11.

October 21st, 1985, All Japan Pro Wrestling...
That happened during the Pro Wrestling USA venture, when promotions were trying to organize against the expansion of the WWF (one month after Superclash 1)... how many other 'champion vs. champion' of that level happened?
