Boring how? What do you find boring about him? His in-ring skills? His promo skills? His look? His entrance music? His personality? Everything? What? Please elaborate. I'm not looking to start anything. I'm curious. I find his ringwork bland and unspectacular, his look in general to be boring and his mic skills sucks. I've seen you gripe about this many times without ever offering up what you think would make this all better to you. Personally, I think D-Bry has some of the most spectacular offense in the company. He's got a lot of high flying offense that the kids like. The missle dropkick/kip up is a very flashy and strong signature of his. The diving headbutt (or flying goat if you will) also gets as many oohs and ahhs as when "Bob Holly" used it as Bryan can typically get just as much distance and air as guys like "Holly" and the Dynamite Kid could. D-Bry's come back with the flying clothesline and suicide dive which for Bryan is usually truly suicidal is also something that manages to get crowds on their feet regularly. Also, his finish now involves him "tuning up the band" like Shawn Michaels, except with YES! chants. Everything I just mentioned there is pretty much the complete opposite of bland and unspectacular. As for his look, how does he look boring? He looks like any other professional wrestler. How does any other wrestler that wears tights, boots, knee pads have a less boring look? What would you prefer him to wear? Does he need a bunch of douchey tattoos like Randy Orton? If you're talking about the beard and how tall he is, I don't understand how those attributes are supposed to be a factor in how boring or exciting someone is. As for mic skills, we can all agree that Daniel Bryan is no Dwayne Johnson. However, obviously no one else comes close to that either. Personally, I'd rather hear Daniel Bryan cut 3 hour long promos than hear Triple H, Orton, Del Rio, or Sheamus talk for 10 minutes. At least when Daniel Bryan talks, he has something different to say than everyone else, and there's conviction behind it. Also, you know who Daniel Bryan sounds a lot like? Sting. They have a very similar tones in their voice and very similar inflections, and Sting is considered one of the greats of all time. Daniel Bryan isn't the greatest on the mic, and he doesn't have to be. He gets his point across, and he has a catchphrase that millions of people like to chant that will forever be linked to him. As I see it, if you can get millions of people to partake in a chant, chances are you're not bland, you're not unspectacular, and your mic skills can't be that bad.

Yeah his WWE run has baffled me...in ROH and on the indies he never broke character and smiled as much as he tries not to like he does now...Its really off putting when hes trying to hold back his smirks and this is coming from the biggest Bryan Danielson fan...Wrestling Road Diaries was AWESOME You can't blame him for that. The pixie living in his beard is tickling him.

I'd say Breesus is about a 7.5 on the mic. For comparison's sake, on my scale I have Kofi Kingston as a 5, Curtis Axel as a 4, Orton at 6.5, HHH at 8, Cena and Punk both at 9, Foley at 9.5 and Hogan and Rock at 10.

I've seen you gripe about this many times without ever offering up what you think would make this all better to you. That's because I don't just like him period and don't care about 'improving' himself. The best way Daniel Bryan can improve things is by f***ing off. All this seems to hinge on crowd reaction, which as I've mentioned in other friends I don't care about. I'm aware he's over. I don't care. He...just looks boring. Can't really say why but I feel sleepy just looking at him. I've not seen much of Stings work (and don't tell me to 'go watch' this and that match because I don't want to). But Daniel Bryan mic skills just sound so forced and unnatural. It sounds like he's reading directly from the script and doesn't ever sound like he believes in what he's saying. Triple H and Sheamus are far better on the mic than him. As for the catchphrase? Millions of people chant it. Good for him. I don't care, it's still irritating.

Kinda crazy how much people question Buzzkill's opinions.
Like it somehow hurts anyone.

Ok, fair enough. You don't like Daniel Bryan. You don't want to like Daniel Bryan. You've made this perfectly clear before.
I don't really see a point to this thread.

People can find Bryan boring and not be interested.. Is whole gimmick is based around "YES" or "NO". Not exactly much depth of character thus far

DB doesn't need much character depth. "YES" and "NO" have got him over because it's a simple way for fans to express themselves. His moveset may be unspectacular, but really who in WWE does have a spectacular set of moves these days? Few if any. His look isn't so much bland, but just normal, but that might be what the fans need and want. A more regular looking guy they can relate to and connect with. Stone Cold wasn't too special to look at. Plain trunks, bald head, no superhuman physique.

People can seem finally Bryan boring and not be interested.. Is whole gimmick is based around "YES" or "NO". Not exactly much depth of character thus far I don't feel its too hard to derive that Daniel Bryan is a technical wrestling/submission specialist with a huge ego, a firey temper and a touch of bi-polar disorder. He also doesn't play well with others and shenanigans come of it. He's also the Dazzler, a beater of bear ass, and a beard enthusiast.

He's dating one of the Bellas. That's about the only thing negative that I can think of.
But atleast Brie's the "nice" one.

Really, though, are there any characters in WWE that have true character depth?
Orton's had years upon years of heavy pushing and character changes but you can still sum him up in a sentence or two.

Characters in wrestling typically don't have depth, which is actually a pretty good thing. That's why it's so easy to turn one way or the other at the slightest provocation. Spend too much time making a character deep and conflicted and you limit what you can do with him, lest the narrative suffer. In a book, that's fine because there's an ending planned, but that's not the case with wrestling unless an angle is meant to be their retirement angle.

Bryan needs to trim the beard and cut his hair. The idea that "This look is who I am and I won't let the big bad WWE Machine change it" makes no sense when he grew the beard as part of a comedy "sports entertainment" storyline. The reason he grew the beard is because he went comically insane and let himself go after losing the World Heavyweight Title. Now that he's back on top of the mountain, he should "return to normal". Also, clean cut Daniel Bryan is walking sex on a stick

The beard had already started before he became Heavyweight champ. It's something Bryans done in the past before he was in the WWE, shaved his head and grew a massive beard when he turned heel.

He's a great comedy character, which makes it such a pity that the sort of fans obsessed with treating pro wrestling like SRS BUSINESS have fixated on him as one of their avatars. That gives us the periodic "I'm not an entertainer, I'm a WRESTLER" crap that lead to Bryan's godawful, boring US champion run, and which infected his angle with Cena.
And it's sorta hilarious every time folks on the interweb try to pretend the protege of Triple H's two best friends is some nonconformist outsider being held down by management.
