Bryan needs to trim the beard and cut his hair. The idea that "This look is who I am and I won't let the big bad WWE Machine change it" makes no sense when he grew the beard as part of a comedy "sports entertainment" storyline. The reason he grew the beard is because he went comically insane and let himself go after losing the World Heavyweight Title. Now that he's back on top of the mountain, he should "return to normal". Also, clean cut Daniel Bryan is walking sex on a stick I assumed he grew it because he has gone on the record saying he does not like to shave.

The beard had already started before he became Heavyweight champ. It's something Bryans done in the past before he was in the WWE, shaved his head and grew a massive beard when he turned heel. When he was world champ, the beard looked cleaner and well groomed. It was after losing the belt that it became all "hobo-y".

And it's sorta hilarious every time folks on the interweb try to pretend the protege of Triple H's two best friends is some nonconformist outsider being held down by management. Well, you're gonna see a lot more of that because that's the exact story they're telling.

Ok, fair enough. You don't like Daniel Bryan. You don't want to like Daniel Bryan. You've made this perfectly clear before. I don't really see a point to this thread. Same point there is to appreciation threads but in reverse. Which really isn't all that new concept in and of itself. Wrestlers, angles, attires, chants, even match endings and angles have all gotten depreciation threads. As a Daniel Bryan fan, I don't see the problem with this; some people feel one way, other's feel another. Nothing to find umbrage about.

He's a great comedy character, which makes it such a pity that the sort of fans obsessed with treating pro wrestling like SRS BUSINESS have fixated on him as one of their avatars. That gives us the periodic "I'm not an entertainer, I'm a WRESTLER" crap that lead to Bryan's godawful, boring US champion run, and which infected his angle with Cena. And it's sorta hilarious every time folks on the interweb try to pretend the protege of Triple H's two best friends is some nonconformist outsider being held down by management. While I do think that DBry is perfectly fine at playing a serious and credible main event character, yeah, those snooty aspects currently in his promos need to go. All they do is damage the "spunky underdog" vibe they're trying to cultivate with him.

At times he comes off as a 'holier than thou' douchebag. Not a great addition to his character.
Again, Wrestling wrestler that wrestles for wrestling.

Guys only seem to say things like that up against John Cena. They do that to feed the divide between the fans because they know Cena's gonna get booed against certain people.

They've mentioned that Randy Orton is the perfect "sports entertainer" and that's why he was chosen to be the guy. It's going to have "Sports Entertainment vs. Wrestling" undertones.

I find that annoying and not very entertaining.

The "wrestler vs sports entertainer" thing is caused by WWE. They place such an emphasis on being sports-entertainment, that a guy can build an anti-establishment image simply by saying "I'm a wrestler". It says less about pretention or snobbery on the part of Daniel Bryan, and more about WWE's insane view of what they think they are (an entertainment company), and what they actually are (a wrestling company)

Needs to trim the beard. Needs to stop giving PPV quality matches on free tv. (Cesaro too) That's all i have. Your second point is quizzical to me. Where as a fan is it an issue to have great matches you can see for free?

His beard and hair aren't long enough to my liking.
He also needs to bring back the Count Danielson cape.

Cena encourages the "wrestler vs sports entertainer" thing too, because he's the walking talking embodiment of WWE. He uses all the buzzwords and has a religious devotion to WWE itself. He's made it very clear that he regards WWE as the be all and end all to the business, so he sets himself up for criticism from a guy with DB's character, who acknowledges that a world of wrestling exists beyond the WWE bubble, even though it might not be as glamourous.

The one thing I hate most about Daniel Bryan? He doesn't rock the Mankini anymore:

Where as a fan is it an issue to have great matches you can see for free? Just joking (that's why i had the "smiley at th end), since you know Cesaro and Bryan are 2 of the best rasslers around the world, so it's hard for them to have a bad match. (Gotta love the current roster with Shield, Del Rio(although i skip his matches), Ziggler, Rhodes, Punk etc.....quality matches everywhere!)
