At least in past corrupt WWE regimes someone has been honest. Right now, you count a three for Bryan against Orton Trips would fire you.

All it takes for me is an arbitrary Ryder title shot that has nothing to do with any storylines and that he won't stand a stance in hell of winning. C'MON WWE YOU DID IT LAST YEAR!

At least you haven't already purchased a ticket to go to it. Lamest PPV in a while. Detroit hasn't had a good one since Rumble 2009.

I can see why everyone would have wanted to order Summerslam but this one? Bryan will NOT beat Orton (hes gonna have the strap until Mania at least). Punk-Axel? Does anyone even care about Axel enough? He sucks.

IIRC most of the original Corporation title defenses had copious amounts of refs being pulled from the ring and punched out while making three counts, interference from about 12 guys, Vince jumping in to referee, rules being changed mid-match, and screwjobs so if you like that type of thing this PPV is going to be right up your alley.

... You guys know this wasn't the go-home show, right? That there are still two Raws before the PPV? Because there are. And, going by the ending of this show, those two weeks will likely be hinting at (if not including) a revolt among the roster. So, the idea that no one would be willing to cross the boss is likely going to be out the window by, oh, next week.
Now, from a storyline standpoint, Bryan shouldn't win at NOC. He should be screwed out of his shot (and then HHH could go on about how Bryan gets no more title shots, since his NOC one would be his contractually-guaranteed rematch), but the fact that things look bleak for the babyface 20 days before the PPV? That's basic storytelling.

The low buyrate will be blamed on DB of course.

Honestly, I rarely buy PPVs aside from the Big Four and MitB, but with all that's going on, Night of Champions might be interesting.
