The angle just started a little over a week ago.
People really have no patience these days.

I think that they're booking the hell out of this angle personally. No idea how creative got good the last few months but hopefully Vince doesn't find out about it and screw it up.

As someone who has made it clear he isn't really a DB fan, I'd have to call BS on anyone saying that DB is getting buried or that even the angle is being done poorly.

Just have Trips say to Show "I know I can't fire you, but I can book you in handicap matches and keep you as far away from championship opportunities as I see fit."

Not to mention "indefinitely suspended without pay". There's that, but Hunner seems more like the type that would enjoy watching Show lose 3, 4, 5 or even 10 on 1 handicap matches in the opening match on Main Event every week for as long as he wanted. I think a worse Hell for a wrestler isn't not wrestling, but wrestling in a no-win situation with no end in sight.

The angle just started a little over a week ago. People really have no patience these days. While I agree that people are lacking in patience these days, I think there's another reason some aren't happy with it so far. When they did angles like this in the 90s, the wrestlers used to seem bigger than the machine. Heavily principled people that would do what they felt was right (or wrong) and damn the consequences. You could live vicariously through that, relate it to your own life and how you're not gonna take shit from anybody anymore! etc. They're playing it more realistically now. And it's working, it's built tension very well. But, it's lacking that rebellious idealism that made the Attitude Era and the like so fun. Of course, Miz and Ziggler and Show are going to do something eventually, but it's kind of lame that they're even contemplating and acting scared this much. For story purposes it totally makes sense, but with what we've seen before I can't help but think they're being pussies.

I think it works. I love that in this post-recession America, the babyfaces aren't badass enough to stand up to Triple H. Daniel Bryan is a man alone, and I love it. Who the f*** will help him now?
It's just a different twist on the Stone Cold formula again. Stone Cold alienated everyone in the locker room by assaulting them, threatening them and generally being a huge douchebag. Bryan has the locker room's support but they can't show it because it would cost them their jobs.

Yes, and after the first 3 shows in a row it's gotten really old really fast. It hasn't. It's just that some people don't have the patience anymore for slow builds. It's something WWE needs to ignore and get back to gradual storytelling rather than blowing their loads in less than a month and wasting potentially excellent storylines. Serioudsly. People get bored of shit or say "again? Lame" after 2 weeks of consecutive endings I blame short attention spans for flubbed stories on tv Breaking bad was boring at first, but became excellent.

As I've surmised before, the consecutive weeks of the New Corporation handing Bryan his ass will be all the more worth it when things really pick up and Bryan starts wrecking shit and/or we get a WWE Civil War.

I know the consensus seems to be "wait and see," but last night's SmackDown was just... Miz, Ziggler AND Bryan end up getting mauled at some point during the show. While Bryan comes to the aid of Miz, the other two are just left to the dogs; the whole while, Big Show's balled up on the verge of tears (amazing acting, I should say). While all of this is going on, the entire backstage can't be so much as bothered to write a stern letter of criticism? I'm not saying I wanna see all the heels laid out in week two, but ending four straight shows with Bryan on his back? Two weeks where him and other faces are either murdered or left impotently silent? Like was said on the earlier page: Just remember, being randomly attacked by Miz and R-Truth, two fired employees previously disciplined by the boss = worthy of a walkout. Being threatened with termination by a clearly biased boss also ordering the merciless attack of one your peers = not worthy of a walkout.

I really liked the touch on Smackdown of Michael Cole getting upset and calling out the Corporation, but quickly apologizing for his emotions getting the best of him. But with the other guys, I think they're playing it a little too weak. Last night they were about to air their grievances, but as soon as Triple H came out all of a sudden they got scared. Then Triple H ran them down with no retaliation, not even verbal. I get it but it was a little much. It does make Bryan look fantastic by comparison, which is probably the point.

Take the Stone Cold approach. Piss them off to the point they'll keep you around.

Either just before Night of Champions or soon after that.

I think that they're booking the hell out of this angle personally. No idea how creative got good the last few months but hopefully Vince doesn't find out about it and screw it up. I agree wholeheartedly. The faces know that their jobs and health are at risk if they stand up to the boss. Either they swallow the bitter pill and continue to be company men, or they rebel, and either lose their jobs or get put in a 3-on-1 handicap match against the reigning Tag Team and United States champions. I mean, how many of us have had a prick for a boss, who lords his power over all of his employees, and all you want to do is rear back and sock him square in the face? Probably all of us. How many of us did? None of us, because we'd lose our job. That's why this storyline is so fantastic, because you can relate to it. Sure, when Stone Cold Steve Austin was opening cans of whoop-ass in the late-90s, it was great to watch, because it was an employee doing whatever he wanted to his corporate-overlord boss. But remember his first Stone Cold Stunner on Vince McMahon? Imagine how awesome of a moment that would have been if he had waited until WrestleMania XV before doing it? That's what the reaction's going to be like when Big Show knocks out Triple H, or Daniel Bryan locks him in the Yes/No/LeBell Lock. The crowd is going to collectively lose it's s***, because Triple H is so deserving of it, and it's going to be such a long time coming.
