It sucks to see how New Japan's IWGP Heavyweight title belt went from looking like one of the most beautiful belts in wrestling history, to a beaten up shell of its former self due to them not taking care of it properly. It has only been in use for a few years now, but looks like it has been through hell. It went from looking like this:  To looking like this:  |

still looks better than 99% of the titles today.
TNA WHC looks weird and is too big to fit anyone on the roster, and the WWE title is just not that great.

Oh, I know. I'm just saying that when they had such an amazing looking belt, how could they mistreat it to that extent?

That's some oddly placed wear and tear on that bad boy. Looks like it just needs a little cleaning and touch-up around heavyweight champion plates.

Just give a couple of the young boys some Brasso and polishing rags & tell to to clean the belt.

I like seeing excess wear on the title belt because it shows me that it is in fact the same belt and not a replica.

I like the way the title lineage is displayed on the belt with individual plates for each champion. I imagine they won't be able to do that forever though.

I'd imagine its just the normal wear and tear any belt takes, NJPW has had several IWGP titles I'm sure we'll see another one when this one is beaten down.
