Anyone else think they are going to wind up playing up the whole Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy thing and have HBK in D-Bry's corner to counteract the HHH factor?
I know HBK had next to nothing to do with his training, but I guess he's a big enough name (I don't really think the angle even needs it) that it'll really catapult it that much further. Kliq and McMahon angles are typically heavy on the dramatis personae, and mixing the two would seem to be par for the course.
Again, I don't think the angle needs it, but if history is any lesson, more people will become involved sooner or later.

Hopefully not until he shaves

The beard could come in handy for Michaels in this angle. Of course, they might jump him and shave him since they won't do it to Bryan

I actually think it'll be Mick Foley that they bring in for the angle.
If anyone can sympathize with what Bryan's going through right now, it'd be him.

No. No shaving. We need as much beard as possible with this. Also, it would be fun to see if the fans even recognize him.

Foley will be mowed down if gets involved though I was thinking as more of an authority figure kind of role. Maybe have him be in contact with the Board of Directors to try and keep Triple H and the McMahons from having too much power.

I thought this last night. When The Shield were beating on Bryan and then Trips and Orton came out I honestly thought Orton was going to be just about to hit the RKO when HBK's music hits, he glares at HHH before making the save for Bryan. Then at Night of Champion it would be Bryan (w/ HBK) vs. Orton (w/ HHH). This would probably lead to HBK costing Bryan the match leading to Bryan becoming the new Sting who everyone betrays.
Now, I don't want that to happen but that's what I thought was gonna happen last night. It still might for all I know.

I can't wait for this to happen. This storyline is working well in the sense that as a fan I'm like "Bryan needs some help!"

Regal should be the first guy to jump in on Bryan's behalf, IMO.

Only if its backwoods HBK. Watching Bryan's back, with his trusty bow and quiver of arrows.

Am I wrong in NOT wanting Michaels involved? He doesn't really add anything and I think it'd be better if Bryan can overcome all this on his own.

As soon as Bryan mentioned Triple H as a "rebel" I expected DX to get brought up in name. I'm sure Shawn will show up again soon enough and mention how Triple H sold out. He'll probably ask Hunter to turn face again but get beaten down instead of reuniting DX for the millionth time. Personally I'd find it funny if Hunter successfully swerved HBK yet again.

Bryan is an actual underdog, something we really don't get that often with faces in WWE. Faces almost always look stronger or have looked so strong in the past that you don't really believe they couldn't win. So I like that Bryan gets to be talented while still having the odds stacked so far against him. Throwing a super-strong face into the mix to help him would cheapen it to me, although admittedly I kept waiting for Austin's music to hit on Monday.

Hopefully not.
I don't need to see Foley, Michaels, Austin or any non-active wrestlers in this story.

Regal should be the first guy to jump in on Bryan's behalf, IMO. Regal would be great just for the sheer number of times we'd hear him say "Triple Haitch".

The beard could come in handy for Michaels in this angle. Of course, they might jump him and shave him since they won't do it to Bryan Shawn being held down and having his beard shaved sounds like one of the most hilarious things they could ever possibly do.
