I think one of the only good things that came out of this were those videos from about a week after Lockdown in which Bully explained everything. It was okay but I had the same problem that I did with Bischoff's whole spiel after Immortal formed. They basically filled in every bad plot hole all at once and once again it was revealed that people were deliberately tanking matches.

Bully should have won the BFG Series last year and beat Aries for the title at BFG (basically have the Lockdown finish at BFG). Then they could have ended the Aces and Eights storyline at Lockdown with the Lethal Lockdown match and Bully losing to the title to someone (Hardy, probably). It just dragged out way too long. There was no reason to extend it to BFG 2013.

Can anyone even explain what Taz has to do with anything Ace's and 8's related? I don't know it was during Bully and Brooke's wedding, and Taz said "these pretzels are makin me thirsty" and things started happening. |

Honestly the build up was only fun for a couple of weeks. Endless beatdowns got old VERY fast.
The "dramatic reveals" were a combo of "OK..." and "Who?"
The Brooke marriage angle made nearly every one look stupid.
The opposition was the MeM which never really gelled the way the first one did.
The mma guys being included added nothing and also got old when you realized they weren't actually going to get involved.
