Just watched NXT and hot damn, Enzo Amore is o-v-e-r. How did THAT happen?
Unless I've missed something, Enzo has been on TV like, four or five times? And it looks like he's already been turned face because of the sheer face reactions he's getting, and the crowd just eat up those catchphrases.
How did this happen so quickly?

The ridiculousness and hamminess are coming back strong, and fans are eating it up. Fandango, Emma, Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, now Enzo. We were inundated with stripped down looks/personalities/motivations for quite a while.

We were inundated with stripped down looks/personalities/motivations for quite a while. As has been pointed out in previous threads, it's the return of Gimmickry. And when you think about it, all the truly successful WWE wrestlers (including current ones) have had some kind of gimmick. At no point in wrestling history, the old days, the 80's, the New Generation, Attitude, Post-Attitude and the present day, has it been detrimental to have gimmicks. Even in the New Generation where weird occupational gimmicks were the norm, having believable or at least slightly relatable gimmicks works.

I just logged on to make an appreciation thread for him! The dude needs to work out a little more, but holy hell I want him on my tv all the time. Also, Cassidy is coming along quite well. He seemed awkward at first, but him and Enzo have really started spinning gold lately.
EDIT: rewatching stuff from NXT, hes just so comfortable talking and his schtick is perfect. He's a much much MUCH better Robbie E. Enzo has licence to print money with SAWFT and being the realest guys in the room. Bada Boom.

I'd like to see him replace Santino as the Raw comic relief. (Not that Santino has been around lately but you get the point)

I noticed he's not in great shape, not to WWE's standards. After reading that's what's held back Kassius Ohno, I hope he gets in ring shape cos the guy is solid gold.

He's alright, will probably only make it to 3MB level though.

It was crazy fast how quick he got over. But it's understandable because he oozes personality. Plus he's pushing The Rock for most catchphrases. Certified G!

Amore is clearly in great shape, plus he was hired through Joe DeFranco, HHH's personal trainer and consultant for the Performance Center.
