Whose that guy who used to do Superstars commentary? Stan Stanford or whatever it was. I thought he was a good commentator, is he still knocking around? They should promote him.

Count me amongst those not ready for The King to retire yet. I will admit that yes his quality as an announcer has dropped off ALOT in the last several years but, when he does retire it will truly mark the end of an era. And besides, he still has flashes of that brilliant sense of humor, not to mention, keep in mind he is probably told what to say more these days than before

"If you get an e-mail that says it contains two tickets to a 3MB concert don't open it! It contains two tickets to a 3MB concert!" I legit spit up my beer when I heard that. King's still got some of his old one-liner-magic left, I tells ya. That's the type of heel joke he would have said to Vince in 1994. I don't get the ire for Lawler, but to me in 2013, he's a non-entity. He's just, there. Not great, not horrible, just there. Which, as someone who found his Stu and Helen jokes funny, is kind of sad to watch.

He's just a horrendous face, I don't even know why they made him one Old-school Memphis wrestling fans would fight you tooth and nail over that sentence.

King's fine. JBL is the one who needs gotten rid of ASAP. More importantly, someone needs to remind WWE that being a heel announcer doesn't mean nitpicking the other announcers and being overbearing, it just means being aligned with the heels while being entertaining.Just like Jesse Ventura, Heenan, and 1990's Lawler.

I'm pretty sure King has a job for life in WWE, if he wants it. No amount of complaints will change that.
