So my laptop display screen is busted. The HP people told me that it would cost 210 dollars to have it repaired by them. I thought screens were like 50 bucks? Am I better off buying a screen and trying to put it in myself? Or would a computer repair place be cheap?
It sucks cause this notebook isn't that old, less than 6 months even is my guess. But I cant see paying so much to repair a comuter when they don't cost much more than that brand new.

It's not very difficult to replace screens. However, what I would recommend before that is looking for a repair place nearby that isn't HP, and see what they quote you. My guess is it will be closer to 90-100 dollars.
If it's anything over 100, give it a shot on your own.
