I fully support putting CM Punk and Daniel Bryan together so that fewer segments will be polluted with their presence.

Hell I think Punk should be the one to topple the Corporation. Seriously, if Punk takes over this story then so be it. If Punk is giving better promos and moving the story along better than Bryan, then so be it. I honestly cant wait till Punk actually intervenes and then we got a real war on our hands. Finally, turn Cena and have Punk beat him in the end.
New Boom Period. (Even though that's a stretch since Wrestling in general isnt that popular anymore)
...Im dead f***ing serious.

I almost wouldn't be surprised if they turn Punk again and he sides with the Corporation.

Can we just let Daniel Bryan have his moment in the sun? He started from the bottom, NXT and all, and now he has a chance to be the face of the company. Last thing he needs is CM Punk hijacking his spotlight for a 2011 retread.
And yes, it would be a hijack, because there is no way in hell he's taking anything but solo top billing if he finds his way into this angle.

Im sure Bryan will get his moment in this story. Its just going to be one of the side or 2nd most important thing when it happens.

I was thinking a little like this like this:
Bryan & Punk = Austin & Mankind (with their roles possibly interchanging)
HHHCorp = Corporation
Orton = Rock HHH = Vince Vince = Patterson/Brisco Shield = Big Boss Man Maddox = HBK/Slaughter
Heyman Guys = Ministry of Darkness
Lesnar = Taker Heyman = Bearer Axel = Acolytes

Could be fun but certainly not needed. Possible endings to this pairing would be Triple H and friends stomping two of the top guys or Triple H and friends stomping two of the top guys and Cena taking out the regime all by himself.
I wish I wasn't so cynical...

Some good ideas in this thread, but seriously...stop calling them The Mega Powers. That name is too holy to reappropriate.

What's the opposite of that? Anyone vomit out of boredom before? That'd be a cool thing to do first.

But... This isn't what Punk is like in kayfabe at all. In Kayfabe, he was a bad guy who manipulated everyone into thinking he was a rebel, as elucidated upon several times during his heel turn. It's even in his theme song. Yes, you're right that this happened while Punk was a heel. That's what's so frustrating about having character invalidate things they've done. Now I think we're supposed to see Punk like he was before he invalidated his former actions. I don't like the excuse, but they could explain it away as, "He let the title go to his head and he's learned the error of his ways"

I can't wait when they break up over Punk accusing Bryan of his 'jealous eyes'. Then knocks him over a table filled with first aid items.

AJ needs to play the role of Liz to counter Stephanie. New Mega Powers vs. Team Business AJ or a debuting Paige, either will do. Ideally I would have Punk align with Bryan to take out a section specifically in the Corporation, and feud with them while Bryan is the one who ultimately get's the win and the coverage needed. -For example Bryan, Kofi, Rhodes, Ziggler, Miz are all on the top of the stage. Bryan says he has found a partner for his Rebel Alliance, *punks music hits and he joins him on stage, next to Bryan establishing him as the number 2 guy and sub unit leader of the rebels*, - HHH, Orton, Shield, Ryback, Barrett, Real Americans, Sandow and other members of the Corporation are in the ring. - The Rebels storm the ring, the midcarders fight the midcarders. Punk specifically takes on the Shield keeping them at bay and going nuts, Bryan goes after HHH and Orton, giving HHH the YES! Knee and putting Orton in the YES! Lock. - Midcarders on both ends feud with eachother, Punk's feud in the war is specifically with Shield yet he is still part of the Rebels (but not overshadowing Bryan. He faces Shield memebers in tag matches and singles matches on PPV, putting them over and having great matches. Brock feud revisited through Shield feud maybe). But Bryan is always still the main guy and the leader of the rebels, and he is the only one who fights Orton/HHH/Vince (corporation leaders) and ultimately wins the war himself.

Y'know how Punk got a one up on Lesnar and Heyman on the Raw before SummerSlam. I'm really wanting to see that kind of ingenuity used against the Corporation.

It's inevitable. There's a darn good reason they've kept Punk far away from this angle. The pop that ensues the first time static interrupts Triple H is going to be huge. This would be amazing!
