The return of Wargames? (Unlikely, esp. with Survivor Series around the corner)
Scramble matches?
6-pack challenge matches?
A tournament?
the return of battlebowl?
or is it just a name with no gimmick attached?

This is perfect time to bring WarGames back to PPV.

All I want is for Vince to open the PPV by addressing the locker room while standing in front of an American flag dressed in military garb and calling them "dumb bastards."

My guess, even if they are planning a gimmick for it, there won't be one by the time it actually comes around. Like with the No Way Out revival.

A WarGames PPV is a perfect thing to do right now, so naturally it won't happen.

Concrete Crypt Match where HHH will have to "do the right thing" for Stephanie or choose to save a shovel from being buried in cement.

I think that'd be the best thing about them doing a War Games PPV, might make them go through with dropping Survivor Series. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's never liked it. Then again, could pretty easily merge the concepts. I think I'd like Survivor Series more if they did like they did in 1998 and 2002 and just made it a straight, all-purpose survival concept instead of just happening to have a cluttered, usually completely meaningless tag match that usually doesn't have any actual build.

Pretty much. Just like SurvSer 97 and 98 were subtitled "Gang Rulz" and "Deadly Game," respectively, this year's can be subtitled WARGAMES. Surivor Series: Wargames It would score a pretty sweet buyrate too!

There will be no ring. They'll have to battle on the ground.

If the logo is any indication of the effort they've put into the PPV, then it'll be all singles matches with no special stipulations. Even the one for the tag titles.

This is the company that had a multi-man tag match at Bragging Rights the month before Survivor Series a few years ago. I'm sure doing a WarGames type two months before wouldn't be a huge stretch.

Wasn't Battlegrounds the nerf gun Rey Mysterio advertised a few years ago? If so, you KNOW you want to see a nerf gun tag match.

Wrestlers settle their issues via Battleship and Risk Not gonna lie, I'd pay money to see Ryback, CM Punk, Paul Heyman, Daniel Bryan and Triple H sit down for an in-character game of Risk. It would make for totally hilarious anarchy.
