Not until October? I'm thinking more like not until the Road to Wrestlemania.

Bertie, Truth, Fandango (let him run as Triple H's chosen IC Champ), and Sandow. Truth sounds interesting. But Alberto, Sandow, and to some extent Fandango, all seem like the type who think too highly of themselves to do dirty work for someone else. If Del Rio was in it, I think he should be treated almost the same way as Orton.

As I've said elsewhere, I think certain members of the Corporation can stand to take a few lumps without looking like chumps, like The Shield, for instance. Have a Raw or SmackDown end with Bryan beating up a Shield member to send a message to Orton or something.

But my arm-chair booking senses tell me it'd be more interesting for ADR to align with DBD and crew purely out of self-interest and spite. ADR is just as much of a champion as Orton is, but he doesn't have Hunner Administration backing. Hunner ain't trying to help ADR in his matches or give him lavish gifts, so I say ADR shouldn't have love for Hunner. Any attempts by him to make it up to ADR should fail, because Hunner didn't come to ADR before he went to Orton. ADR's got to save face.

Yet, judging by some reactions, the casuals are apparently going to be so fickle as to abandon him now just because he's taking a lot of lumps from a group that are clearly not playing fair. I think a lot of the people saying that are Daniel Bryan marks that just don't want to see him getting beat down a lot and/or are terrified of him losing his spot at the top. Imagine what the reaction is going to be on here when Big Show finally attacks the Corporation and winds up taking the top spot by either facing Randy Orton for the WWE Title or Triple H . Is he going to be reluctantly dominant Big Show? Where he doesn't want to take out HHH and Randy Orton but can't help himself because he's that strong? He has a 3 year title reign, crying after every successful defense because he's so sad that the other guys can't compete with him.

Y'know...as shit as the Big Show booking was this week, I'm still at least somewhat supportive of where this is going. Weren't Big Show and Henry making a run for the tag titles and isn't Mark Henry out with an injury? It seems like this is something they had to just throw in there since that plan got shot down. While I normally don't mind Show and Henry has been batting millons of dollars lately, I swear on all things wrestling that no-****ing-body except Vince Tap-Dancing McMahon wants to see a goddamn Show/Henry tag title run in 2013.

I wouldn't mind seeing Show/Henry as tag team champions as long as it meant they were actually assimilated into the tag division and not buggering around doing other things. I honestly feel that if the Henry and Show team was still on the table, then their feud with the Shield would be treated as separate from the Corporation storyline (in spite of the Shield's role as HHH flunkies) and Show would not be front and center all over this angle overshadowing Bryan.

If Flair's retirement angle taught me any thing, angles are capable of evolving over time. Most of you are aware of how the retirement angle led us to Michaels/Jericho. But what if Bryan/HHH isn't the endgame? What if this is supposed to ultimately lead to Bryan/Punk in the long run? Perhaps we could actually get that Bryan/Punk team to fight the corporation, before eventually facing each other at Wrestlemania. Meanwhile, on the side we could get that HHH/McMahon feud that's been rumored after they have a fallout from Bryan's victory over the corporation.

I mean, they might not have been, but I'm just looking at what'll happen down the line. You know they would've had Show and Henry beat the Shield for the titles and I bet you they would've crushed any other tag team while still feuding with The Shield. This way, I can kinda cling to the hope that a tag team not comprised of two main-eventers will take the titles off The Shield. Just like how people don't trust the WWE to really follow through with this angle they built, I don't trust them enough to think they wouldn't have had Show/Henry crush all the other tag teams.
